Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. From a biblical perspective, we are all on transit. Only the "Potter" knows when we are ready for the next stage. . He controls the exits and entry. He defines our duration here. As humans we see only a piece of the total picture, so our definition of perfection is limited by our experience and knowledge.
Hell is anywhere where life (for all living things) is least valued. Where life is short, nasty and brutish. Where instinct (mostly at the expense of others) drives behavior, not conscious.
I guess most countries have a piece of hell.......
