I would never take the wife beater at all over another guy just over looks... i think that is someone who has a low self esteem or does not think of themselves as being very worthy of good love. I would stay well clear of that type of women.

Is there any ideal partner.... i believe it is a partnership, both should put in and both take out... each partner male or female will have strengths and weaknesses in certain areas or on certain days for differeing reasons. I do believe that subliminally if you fear being used or rejected easily then this is more likely to happen than if you go in feeling and projecting your worthiness of good love and respect. It is not easy to do..i still struggle with this... so i have changed the way i look at things .... i have written a list of all the qualities i want in a partner and in effect it is a liist i suppose... not set in stone, but a foundation for something special to grow.... because if you skimp on the foundation.. then the building is likely to faulter when times get tough.and may even fall down around you, so you want that building to stay strong and support you ... that is the way i look at it.

Yes i was reading today about how feminism is no longer and the girls these days say pfft to barbie and they are becoming the raunch society eg. drugs, strip clubs, prison, hard liquor etc.. these are the things that
young girls these days are looking to emulate due their role models of Brittney, Paris and Nicole, Madonna etc. They disdain the working women of our generation, they want to be kept women, not work but have all the trappings of society, a rich mummy and daddy to provide them with a car and holiday house etc.. and credit cards then find themselves a rich boyfriend to match. So there you go.... yes we might be old fashioned Gen X's but at least some of us work and live and support ourselves the old fashioned way, by getting a full time job.

On a better note am feeling a little better this week, have a new man in tow... but it is borderline on whether we have that much in common. But he is really keen to meet me so will see how we go. Not jumping into anything... this old bird is getting slower but is an awful lot wiser...

Yes i get the odd contact everynow and then. There are some quite nice people on here from overseas, suppose like anywhere you have to weed out the more whacky ones...the ones who are clearly looking at wanting to live in NZ and well you will suit them just fine as another name instead of visa.. To be honest, i would rather contact someone i can go and have a lunch with or invite around for a nice dinner or just go out and do something... long distance overseas is just really difficult because you can talk to someone for ages and get on but when you meet the chemistry may not be there. Which would be pretty awful if they had to spend $2000 on an air ticket to find that out.
But on a positive note people do find love long distance..so dont give up sweetie i am sure that special lady will find you one day.

I am a little hungover this morning.. and a mate of mine is outside with his chainsaw chopping down advocado trees so i can get more sunlight in to my little cottage.... great for the sun... not for the rooarrr of the chainsaw... but nevermind it is all done now.
