RE: Europeans and Obama

in reference to all of the non US citizens posting comments asking for the US to leave the other countries alone -

please take a minute to think about it this way...

when a disaster happens (natural or man made) which country is the 1st one to receive the call for help?

when it comes to medical research which country pours more money into the medical research field every year than ALL the other countries of the world combined?

I have had this discussion numerous times with many people of all different nationalities -

the US is ALWAYS the first country to respond with assistance in times of need (and never once have they asked to be paid for the assistance).

the US puts more money into research of diseases than the rest of the world combined - and this includes the study of diseases that do not affect Americans.

it is easy to blame the US for all of the problems in the world -
the solution to this is easy - next time a country needs help - call someone else - do not call the US - call Russia or China or any other country and let us know how that works out for you...

had the US not stepped in and helped Europe during WWII you would all be speaking German now...

so if you want the US and the Americans out of your countries - please assist us by helping to remove the dead US soldiers that were buried in your countries while they gave their lives so you could live there in peace

RE: Europeans and Obama

in response to italianbewty -

sorry - but your numbers for Afghanistan are incorrect -

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
the total amount of Italian troops killed in AFG has been to date 53
the total number of Italian troops killed in Iraq was 33
total of Italian troops killed in both wars - 86
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Italy sent a total of 3,200 troops to Iraq

Italy sent a total of 3,800 troops to Afghanistan

so your numbers of losing over 7,000 soldiers are EXTREMELY over exaggerated to say the least (that is the polite way to say that you are full of it).

RE: Would you date a person who has Bipolar Disorder?

Yes, I would date or even marry someone who has been diagnosed as having Bipolar disorder.
I am tired of the term "Bipolar" how did it get changed from Manic Depressive to begin with?
I know several people who have been diagnosed with the illness & yes, they can got through emotional ups & downs (who doesn't?).

Now with the news media & all the PC crowd jumping on the bandwagon every time someone does something bad they immediately start screaming "I am bipolar"...
