Camping Week(end)?

I just double checks the info for Sasquatch park,
21 a night for each site used.
there is a group camp ground available, at $50/night + $4 each for adults, minimum of 15 adults fees, so $110 night, it can hold up to 40 people. [ children are a $2/night fee. for it ]

any of the 3 campgrounds in the park offer reserved camping, likely a deposit required for that service.

Manning park is likely similar in costs, but doesn't offer the swimming opportunities.

if you want to fish, you do need to have the BC license.

Park staff make rounds around sunset to collect fees.
tap water and firewood are available [ firewood a fee for it ]
naturally, outhouses [ even dumping stations for the RVs. ]

RE: how many members would, like a camping and fishing weekend.in the mountains of southern bc .can.

doesn't look like it.

RE: hmm...

Sorry to hear about your mom. blues

While banning won't help anything, as the others have already said, I would ban the internal combustion engine. Toxic emissions are it's primary designed output.

RE: "The Question Game"

End of March, early April, The Lower Mainland of BC.
why? Cypress BeachBowl, Alpine Skiing in bikinis / shorts + T-shirt, in the morning, afternoon tanning on kits beach, evening the strip of kits [ all same day ], Capilano park, the view from Grouse, the character of Gastown.
and we can't forget, the 2 mill pop of the GVRD and it is still a pretty small town atmoshpere. [ people thanking bus drivers as they exit the bus is not a big city thing ;) ]

Starbucks or Tim Hortons?

RE: About Pharmacies, Tobacco, and Alcohol ........

2007 Australian film: Gabriel

I have seen a few, some are typical garbage, most are at least reasonably well done, but Gabriel is an exceptionally well done film.

and we see enough imported movies that flop completely here, we know they were only brought in for the cash cow of the north american market. ;)

2007 Australian film: Gabriel

Have you seen it?
I just finished watching it, and for a $200,000 AUD budget film, I'm seriously impressed with this film.

Don't want to ruin it by giving details of it, but such an extremely low budget production that could easily have made a massive box office, if it hadn't been direct to dvd.

A powerful message about love, forgiveness, in a unique setting for this old story.

RE: Do you have a Smallpox vaccination scar?

You know, I heard a long time ago that Jean Chretien survived Polio, that it was the cause of his slight limp and partial paralysis of his face. If true, I have to respect him as a person for being strong enough to survive, and to fight to overcome the residual problems.

and yeah, I have that round, broken glass rod scratch scar from the vaccination.

RE: What masks do you wear and why?

I don't, not any more.
Had 15 years living and working with the local street community, got the different masks knocked off over that time. It actually forced me to truly know myself and become comfortable with who I am. [ 15 years, long enough to remake myself into who I want to be. ]

RE: Is there a six-pack shortcut?

For me there is, now :p

lots and lots of long distance running, bike riding and swimming while growing up got my metabolic rate so high my body thinks it's slow :/ ...
[ 6 times food guide daily recommended intake just to keep my weight up ]
then developing a severe case of copd on top of it made it worse.
it is now 10 times the recommended daily intake to maintain.
I only need to miss 1 meal 1 day to drop the weight and have a six pack gut.

if you burn 1 calorie with each breath you take, because of my copd, I burn 10.
[ you don't, it is a lot less than 1 calorie, but it makes it easier to write than the miniscule fraction of a calorie. ;) ]

RE: Been there...

Even Molly's Reach is gone now. :/

The town is still there, but the restaurant that was Molly's reach had a name change, then got demolished a few years later.
