I think your only "responsibility" is to be honest with them...tell them how you truly feel about it...they may be hurt at first...but being honest is best....they'll get through it...and then you can have a wonderful friendship...Some people just fall faster than others...I can't say I'm one of them...but some do...and yes stef...it's a sad situation
It goes back to your settling thread...I would never want to settle for something that wasn't truly there...but in the same respect...I would never want someone to settle for me either
