I surely have....her name was Shady...she was a beautiful kitty...she got oh so sick, used to get these puffy bumps all over her...then they would go away. She got to where she just couldn't walk, her eyes got really puffy...I had to take her to the vet 3 times before they figured it out. I put her away immediately, stayed with her, and petted her while they injected her. She just fell asleep, but at one point, her whole body relaxed, and she kinda sighed, like she was relieved. I never cried so hard in my life. I knew that I did the right thing, and that she went to a better place. She was only about 4, so she was still really young. I'll never forget that feeling, when her whole body just relaxed...that's when I knew she was out of pain and happy again........

no need to beat yourself up dear. Just go on with yourself, and put him and your meeting in the back of your mind. 
Acting casual is better, even if you don't feel like it. A person once told me some very good advice. "If a person thinks that you are lint in his pocket, that's where you will stay." True, very true...
think about it, you always have lint, and what do you do with it? Most likely, nothing....I literally pined over this guy for almost 2 years, (worked with him 6 days a week), after my friend told me that, (it was his friend as well), I quit acting like 
and sure enough, within a few weeks, he came to me.
Of course, once I started to get over him, there was no way I was going to go out with him ever again...lesson learned for the future!

Sweetheart, did ya ever think that maybe just maybe life is doing you a favor by not wasting your time on someone that will end up being a waste?
