take half a heart out of one person, put it in another, and have both

them out looking for work in two weeks."
The Canadian doctor, not to be outdone, interjected, "You guys are way
behind. We took a woman with no brains, sent her to Michigan where she
became Governor, and now half the state is out looking for work.

you forgot the ex republican part....She didn't do this to Michigan. Governor Engler did. At one point, early in his first term, Michigan actually had a surplus of funds. Engler decided to give it to other states for favors...that's what started this, it has been a long time coming....
so as a united nation it has been proven by one governors act that solidarity even betweenstates is a fallacy.... how long will this act be remembered????

not as a nation, but as a state, the state of Michigan shouldremember gov. Engler's stupidity at least until it drags itself out of the recession. Maybe the whole state is not in one, but this area sure it. When you go applying for jobs, and they say that they have over 300 applications already...
Michigan is a union state, and that serves as it's demise as well. Jobs going overseas because of the costs here in Michigan. Yeh, unions do a lot for the masses
Maybe if we dump enough Canadian garbage in our state, it will end up helping us out of the recession
