Well, whether I'm talking to the Cheshire Cat or to Shinedown, there's a very valuable lesson to be learned here. Probably more than one.

You seem to me like the rebound guy. She was waiting for a different person, who never showed up. Then all of a sudden, you two are an item. Love cannot come that quickly. I am sorry that you are so wrecked over this, but you must realize that love comes slowly. Not over emails and nights on the phone with one meeting. All good things take time.

Your disappointment is harsh, for sure, but life is full of them. The best thing that you can do is just to understand what happened. IT WAS TOO QUICK, for anything permanent. I read her post, and it seemed to me that it was just a bunch of excuses wrapped into a way to bow out and look reasonable. You need to read between the lines my friend.

I am sorry that this happened to you, and also the posts that were not quite favorable. They all have a point, albeit, said very bluntly. I think that they were just trying to get you to listen to them.

So, pull yourself up by your bootstraps, realize that disappointment comes, and NEXT time take time to get to know the person. You don't know her, even though you think that you do.

My condolences go out to you for what you went through, and for what you are putting yourself through.

Getting a grip would be a good thing.

ah, your post really did bring tears to my eyes. I'm glad that this is over. I wasn't going to post anything, but after I saw what you had written, I couldn't help myself. I can understand why you quote the greats, oddly enough, I do enjoy them. I guess that I have a fierce independence that leads me to write what I think instead of someone else's thoughts-not that mine are as great by any means, but they are mine. I own them.

I never based the Wiccan religion on the Wicker Man, I just found the movie disturbing. Maybe, one day, you can try and help me understand about Wiccan. I do read tarot cards, and I have certain premonitions and if you were to read my only blog, you may understand my beliefs better. Understanding is a beautiful thing.

Thank you for your post. It really did make my day. Not only do I think that you are intelligent, and well educated, you are also very sweet.

Going back to your previous post, I really loved your words. Through your education, and also through your thought process, I believe that one day you just may be considered one of the greats as well

I get a lot of email addresses on the first contact. Those are the people I don't even bother with. If you think about it, they can contact you here, why do it through somewhere else? Especially at the start. I don't give out my addy until I am confortable with them. You have to protect yourself.
