Well do you think Roosevelt got you into World War 2?. When Japan attacked Pearl Harbor they then declared war on America so that was not Roosevelt who got you into this war.
In world war 1 after 7 American Merchant ships were sunk Wilson declared war on Germany.
So thats 2 of your ideas blasted out of the water.
I heard on the radio this morning that somebody was in Armagh in the area that the police man got killed and he was told he was in a strong republican area. He replied oh you mean a Sinn Fein area and he was told no its a Real IRA stronghold.
Sinead that is shocking to hear Southern Retailers think like that.
I was lucky enough last year to take a trip up to Belfast with some friends. We were able to visit Stormont and then also have lunch in the Ulster Reform Club. The Ulster Reform was affiliated to the Ulster Unionist Council, and could you imagine a group of 12 people from the South having lunch and a drink there 20 years ago. Times have changed for the better and the murders of the soldiers and the policeman are barbaric. It was good to see Martin McGuiness openly condeming what happened and I am glad that Peter Robinson and him are standing side by side on this issue. If the soldiers are back on the streets it will be the opposite of what these dissadent Republicans want. As they are against British soldiers being in Northern Ireland this is not what should want but it could easily happen.
Well how many hot famous older Irish guys can you name. If you look at the thread I have done for the games most of the names I would not touch with a barge pole.
And how is education supposed to make me feel smarter? Besides, every time I learn something new, it pushes some old stuff out of my brain. Remember when I took that home winemaking course, and I forgot how to drive?.
Maybe I could put it best in the words of a timeless song.. It was the heat of the moment
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. Contrary to what you've just seen, war is neither glamorous nor fun. There are no winners, only losers. There are no good wars, with the following exceptions: The American Revolution, World War II, and the Star Wars Trilogy
