I don't condone this war any more than I support it. When I joined the Military, I did it for the college money. I grew up in a shack in Mississippi with barely the amenities that most people take for granted. Our country was not at war when I joined. But, when we went to war, I followed obediently as I was taught.
If I had it all to do again~would I change it? I really can't say. I think I did a lot of good over there, as I was a Medic and NOT a combatant or part of Infantry. Saving lives on BOTH sides of the fence and giving immunizations and healthcare to some of the poorest and most deprived children I have ever seen gave me a sense of worth and fulfillment that most people will never experience.


I wanted to share this with you my brother. It's from one of my old blogs.
