yeah police are bad ...outlaws are good until the general public gets assaulted or need a place to put these outlaws then who does everyone call? the police...but everyone is so much smarter than they.....monday quarterbacking is easy....i for one have an morals and values and would do anything/and everything to avoid a situation like that. people do need to realize it is usually split second decisions...not always correct but then again not always wrong. i do ask what would have been said if they let this guy walk out into the public when he was "distraught" and potentially a danger to others. always easier to coach and win after the game is played.
geesh i think i am going to look for the next haley bop comet and get out of here.....if that doesn't work i guess i will just drink the kool aid your serving......
i being in law enforcement would rather use a taser 1000 times before using a bullet which back in the day is all they had.
i do believe with these special munitions weapons that police officers have lessened there ability to talk people down or negoiate apeaceful conclusion to a bad situation. they have made these weapons for a peace officers protection and lately the "taser" has been headlined. i would myself prefer being tasered (again)then ever be shot by a gun. but i am not sure why those officers chose not to use "pepper spray, mace or any other canistered component) which has been proven to be a whole lot safer than electronic devices.
it has always been court defensible to only "use as much force as neccasary" to end any stand off or problem.
i believe (but not seeing the video) that the police could have you spray and he would have stopped his actions in a second. if he didn't then go to the next step. but don"t skip steps to justify an end unless there was iniment danger to the public.
1. presence 2. dialog 3. empty hand contol 4. special munition weapons(gas or spray)rubber bullets 5. electronic devices (taser)others. 6. lethal or deadly force (only when faced with danger to self or public.
i wish i could answer that question.......then again i wish i was in washington d.c. to help solve the problems, but alas i must stay here and complain.......
so we agree the system is broke.......i have never seen a kid turned away or even heard of a kid turned away at any hospital around my tristate area......people would riot if it happened.i for one do not believe the hype about this junk.....
yeah i have seen him post on other threads...but would not respond to this one .....he looks like a big boy in his picture, why do some people feel the need to speak for him or give there 2 cents when i haven't asked for it........again mind your business unless i ask you.........of course i respectfully request this because i don't want the girls to cry....like hillary did when the boys started calling her on her flip flopping......oslojente i haven't seen a post where you can explain your opinions either..makes no sense.but then again i am probably stalking you too......get a life....again respectfully requesting.....
everyone keeps talking how bush vetoed the childrens health care...
what they don't tell you is that in the proposed bill that was sent to him that children were from 0 -25 years old...last i knew you were an adult at 18 ...unless you were in school(college).it was a no win for bush or the republicans....if he voted for it...he was engaging in overspending which the liberals would bash him on so he vetoed it and the libs bashed him for not caring...can't win..
to correct you i believe the they are from kansas, a bunch of loony tunes...they call them extreme right wings.....wrong there leader is a registered democrat...
i would love to see california become part of mexico...vermont belongs with canada.....
the pew and every other poll is trying to pick the president right now...they have decided it already in iowa and new hampshire which hillary isn't leading in either right now....in fact hillary is in 3rd here in iowa...but the pew doesn't report this finding...just like rudy is winning...he is winning because of the media not the people on the street...trust me i am very involved around here and hillary has left a strong distaste in people mouths around these parts they percieve her as a nontruthful person....
by the way if you listen to the polls she beats all the republicans by less than a 3% margin whether it be ron paul or mitt, fred or rudy, but the strange thing is she wins with no more than 48% of the vote...hmmm i don't see this happening.......
staying with bill was not for love it is for business........they don't even put on a good act in public appearances.....bill is too busy checking out the babes in the crowd...
as for who will carry AR- KANSAS......mike huckebee gets my vote all the way around at this moment....just don't think he has enough pull or money to fight the big battle......
thank you.....that is all i was asking....i am too in the same boat...i like other peoples point of view too....that is why i was asking his....but some of these people think i am trying to stop him....heck no i encourage it but i wanted to hear answers not just the questions from his point of view not just the americans......
again do not defend him......you missed my previous posts....idle down....read the post before you pass judgement on me.if your read this i said i find them very interesting....with all due respect wake up.....
RE: I am ashamed of the RCMP.
i want some of this kool aid too.....yeah police are bad ...outlaws are good until the general public gets assaulted or need a place to put these outlaws then who does everyone call? the police...but everyone is so much smarter than they.....monday quarterbacking is easy....i for one have an morals and values and would do anything/and everything to avoid a situation like that. people do need to realize it is usually split second decisions...not always correct but then again not always wrong. i do ask what would have been said if they let this guy walk out into the public when he was "distraught" and potentially a danger to others.
