I have tried to read the article, difficult to concentrate on something with so little logic. If she believes in the Rapture, why is she worried what will happen after with America. Planes falling out of the sky will be the least of the worries of those left behind. I can see nowhere in Revelations that there countries as we know them now will still exist when Jesus reigns on earth, so why pray for God to go easy on the US. Fasting and praying is definitely good, but would you not pray for people's hearts to turn to Jesus, for people's eyes to open to the truth, that is the only way they will be saved whether in the US or anywhere else in the world.
God is amazing, wonderful,all powerful and so much more. His love is like being wrapped in the softest yet strongest blanket. God loves you, he does not enjoy seeing you suffer, He gave his only son to die for our sins, how much more could give someone to proof He loves you? I hope you will find God, it took me 30 years and I have never felt more at peace as I do now I have Him in my life. Even a bad day now is hundred times better than a good day before. Obstinance, if someone wants to stay friends with me should I say cannot be friends with them because I treated them terribly, would that not be even more terrible to them even though it would be for their own good? It actually prolongs the guilt for the dumping party. It is a good way of making sure the the other feels sufficiently guilty. I do agree people should have more self respect
A woman spends more money when she is in a relationship on clothes, lingerie, hairdressers and that type of things because she wants to make an effort. Getting ready for a date can be very expensive for a woman while all a guy has to do is iron a shirt.
Of course it is silly to want to look our best for a guy, you guys probably do not even see the difference between the dress we already had and the new one bought for you, but we do and it costs money.

Obstinance I have Christian friends from all over the world, well from 5 continence anyway, don't know any from Australia and even though our educations and lives have been totally different the fact that we love Jesus creates an instant bond. I cannot speak for other religions, but Christians believe that Jesus matters most, therefore it is quite easy to overcome differerences in culture
Almera, I cannot see that being a big problem, maybe for some religions in certain cases but generally we do not live in middle ages anymore. I think most people that have a faith really believe as there is no pressure from society to have a certain faith these days, more pressure not to believe

I think it could work, but if you are both very serious about your faith you have to find a way that each parties can live their faith without stopping the other doing the same. That takes a lot of love as some things will contradict

Hi Lolette, totally agree. The amount of meat we eat is not sustainable for the planet. Also when the standard of living in the so called "third world" countries rises and they start to adopt the western way of eating destruction of our planet will speed up. I think the only solution is for people to cut down significantly on their meat and dairy intake, for me that is eating vegan but I can see that eating insect protein could also be a solutuon. Also a more sustainable approach to agriculture is needed. It is all about producing as much as possible at the moment not thinking of how the long term damage GM, pesticides and erosion could make it impossible to grow food in the future and make the planet uninhabitable. I do not want to live in a world without fruit or veggies, I don't like eating anything else

Most of my friends can spell their own name and if they really try their address as well and in the wonderful branch of one of your great American banka I work we even have people that are able to add numbers on calculators.
