this stuff makes me want to start my own town, out in the middle of nowhere.
and I have yet to receive an answer to this question from One rep who is of rino persuasion,
QUESTION: Should a baby of foreign citizens be automatically made a U.S. citizen just because its parents boarded a plane to visit Disney World and later gave birth to the child on U.S. soil?
Right now, that's the law . . . until Congress changes it.

How often does this occur? Strikes me that it would be very rare, as most expectant mothers would not want the possible risks associated with late term flying. If it is rare, why the fuss?

happens all the time, does Chineeeeese culture make your noodle nuts? when's the last time you've been stateside?
Most airlines will not allow women to fly after 36 weeks of pregnancy, or 32 weeks if they are pregnant with twins. They’ll have to stay on Disney for a long time!
From Sweden: The travel insurance is valid for 45 days, and only covers expenses below pregnancy week 28.

Are you thinking about the California Chinese birthing ranch where tens of thousands of Chinese women flock to have their children born here for no charge deliver and all the free public benefits later on.
They should be turned around and put on the first jet out of the country. Who cares where that destination might be. Just get them off u.s.a. Soil before they give birth.

I read about this some time ago. It concerned Chinese immigrants who already have relatives in the US. I can't imagine anyone wanting to go on such a long flight being 6-7 months pregnant, but people do it. The parent(s) has to leave again and the baby stays and then applications are filed for family unification. I don't know how often this occurs and how many of these visas are issued.

yep, 10-4 and affirmative..There's baby hotels in US for mothers to come on a tourist visa, when ready to deliver, birth their babies there, then their babies are born with dual citizenship.
So when they grow up they can come here for their educations, and be able to have all the privileges that come with being a US citizen. Yep SOUND'S LIKE HOW OBOZO BECAME PRESIDENT

Who on earth in their right mind would want to live in the USA.If your not shot in the back by a police officer someone else will do the job, and the right wing society gives the advantage to the rich at the expense of the poor, a bi like the UK at the moment, but that will change soon. Nooooo, i will not even visit one of the most corrupt societies in the world.

Perhaps you should, as then you would see that there is nothing that wrong with their society, it's just different to Europe, the corruption is with the politicians, exactly as it is in the UK, and most other "Civilised" countries.
rizlared: Actually the one child rule has be relaxed, it only applies to very large cities such as Beijing or Guangzhou. Forced abortions are rare these days and if done then the officials are also brought to court, many of the over zealous have been imprisoned. China does not allow dual citizenship, so any child having a USA passport is registered as a foreigner, cannot get certain financial support or a pension. They also need a visa to remain in China for more than 12 months, which is expensive and not easy to renew. So maybe not as simple as Crayons described.
according to obozo who wants importation of all single mothers, the major donor area is all of south america and the middle east...

Oh and the politicians are not American? The poor are worse off in America, and the fact that it is politicians who are corrupt does not alter the fact that America is a corrupt democracy, at least China has the excuse they are dictatorship.

I'm not defending American politics, it is, as you said very corrupt, especially the lobbying system, but you cannot say every citizen is corrupt, which is what you inferred by saying "i will not even visit one of the most corrupt societies in the world." Society is made up of people, not just politicians. I have travelled around much of the Country and found most people to be no different to those in pretty much every other country, most good, some not so nice, when I was working in Nascar, the comradeship was amazing, with the track being the place to prove oneself not the pits, can you say the same about F1 a British sport? My point was, to generalise is sometimes okay, but to over generalise is usually unfair

Yeh as you know I have travelled and lived in many places in the world. The ordinary people are much the same as you and I. I have no axe to grind with you personally R.
But the Americans tend to think they are the ultimate in societies and U really did mean i wouldn't want to live in some parts of the USA.

My thoughts exactly, who on earth would want to live there. It must be so dangerous there with people shooting each other and terrorist attacks. And you can get arrested for giving food to a homeless person, how cruel is that

Since you continue to vomit cacophonies and prejudiced remarks about the USA, why don't you visit here for a short and just ask us this and anything you like. We are tolerant. So, come on over. I'm sure that you and your shoe-shine kit will be very popular everywhere here.
