Wouldn't be able to sort that one out for you. Any beliefs i have i keep to myself. As i said earlier stan's thread is about acknowledging a day of fast or not doing so.

I was referring to good friday being one day of the year. Sure the thread by stan is about good friday. Ash wednesday also a day a fast is observed by many is a seperate occasion altogether.

I think it is a small token gesture once a year and if you are doing it then do it for yourself.

Sure years ago people had fish every friday (some still do).

I did have fish but i sliced four rooster potatoes and roasted them. Will not go down as an all time great fast

I think sheldon (jim parsons character) who believed he could make a time machine summed it up good and proper

He said he would stop trying altogether because even if he made one all he would do is give it to a younger version of himself

Oddly enough he was right

Its a funny thing but if i am asked " would you change how life went or would you do anything different?" All i can take is have you learned any bloody thing ?

I do not know how any advise would help. Going back 20 years how could we possibly preparefor the changes that came.

Nice to know someone had the sense to see there would not be much in it so well done

It gets tricky now though. We are at the halfway house, everyone has played each other once and we sit fourth

Third place gets in a playoff (where our record is dire) so we need to hop a couple of places.

We need to score first and take control of games. That was our third injury time goal in 5 games, gibraltar was a rout but still two in close games.
