Thank you for response. I have already visited all those towns that you mentioned and yes, they are all very nice.SA is just my base for now and will head North as soon as the "wet" comes to an end. Have been on CS for at least 3 years now, so no new chum, but thanks for welcome anyway.The rest becomes a long story with friends from other Countries. Cheers for now.
24 hours flying time via Singapore, Schiphol, Warsaw, so not so bad. Immigration is easy if you have lots of money or have enough points as a professional that can be used where there is a shortage in this country. Loved visiting Poland from one end to the other. Zakopane to the Baltic coast.
Met one lady from USA and went to New Zealand together, where we parted company. Another Lady from Poland, where I have been twice and She has viseted me twice in Australia. Still good friends with regular contact and will meet again in future.
Everything is possible if you are willing to take the big jump. I met a Lady on cs a couple of years ago and after 6 months of contact on this site, decided to go to Poland and meet Her. I spent 5 weeks there with Her and had a great time. She then came to see me in australia for 3 months in which we did a lot of traveling and camping. Some time later ,after going back, because of visa limits, came back to me again. She had to return for the second time because of illness, as insurance does not cover long term stays for everything. There is no reciprocal agreement between our two countries on health issues. That's where New Zealanders are lucky. The down side to this is that our age, even though we care for each other very much,is migrating out here,if you don't have a lot of money, the goverment does not make it easy. Strange you say that , As I was a professional fisherman for 20+ years, Having fished on the sea in South Australia during that time of my life I still enjoy fishing as a hobby and as a healthy food source, that is free if you catch it yourself. I am about to fillet two black bream that I caught in a nearby river and have the fish for our evening meal. It is a simple recipe, where I beat an egg , dip the fish in it and then roll the fillets in spiced bread crumbs and fry in olive oil for two minutes each side. That, with fresh salad and maybe some potato chips , makes a simple meal.
