RE: Would you date a hybrid....

She's a singer who is currently dating Calvin Harris. I could give you a list of her celeb hookups in the past but we'd be here all day. She's notorious for writing songs about her experiences with men....

RE: A straw poll ladies (open for 24 hrs)

Yes....when I wanted something laugh
He used to do the same grin

RE: Would you date a hybrid....

I don't think I would. I don't think I agree playing with genetics that way.
I find it interesting how the facial features of one celebrity overshadow the other. I find the first one to really look like Taylor Swift apart from the eyes, 'cos hers are more 'cat-like'. Be interesting to see what others think.

RE: Drama in your daily lives? Do u like it?

I completely get where you're coming from because it's the same for me. Between that and negative-always-down-on-their-luck/complaining kind of people just drain me. I'll help/listen to anyone but have had to take a big step back from certain people in the last couple of years.

RE: Drama in your daily lives? Do u like it?

Nope! No time for drama or the people who cause it. I like a quiet, peaceful life. Ups and downs are par for the course but the needless cr@p some people like to cause I can happily live without :)

RE: A pint or a glass ?

It wasn't me I swear grin Good woman herself laugh
No I don't put ice in Bulmers, but I like a bit of strawberry Ribena or blackcurrant in mine.

RE: A pint or a glass ?

The only time I'd use a pint glass is if I was having Bulmers. I haven't drank that on a night out in a couple of years. I don't drink anything else that'd call for a pint glass. I see nothing wrong with women drinking from a pint glass. It's a glass, not a bucket laugh

RE: Drinking at home alone

Personally I prefer to sleep it off but I'll take your word for it grin

RE: Drinking at home alone

It takes me at least 3 days to recuperate after a night on the tiles. I don't do things by halves you see laugh laugh

RE: Drinking at home alone

Ye boys....roll eyes laugh

RE: Drinking at home alone

It's unreal expensive. We (friends/sisters and I) would usually taxi in/home, end up going to the club and then the obligatory Supermac's before going home. In the past I've spent close to €100 on a night out, on a few occasions, more if we went for a meal before going for drinks.. It's mad!!! Nothing to show for it the next day bar a hangover and an empty purse!

RE: Drinking at home alone

I seldom go out for a variety of reasons. I am not a big drinker, but I enjoy a glass or two of wine of an evening some weekends. I don't buy into the whole 'you've a problem with alcohol if you drink at home on your own'. It's not me anyway.

RE: Love Honour and Obey

F€ck off! laugh

RE: Love Honour and Obey

rolling on the floor laughing ......Good luck with that! laugh

RE: Love Honour and Obey

I agree with anna, love and honour goes with the territory but obey.....I'm not a dog so no. Two out of three 'aint bad!

RE: Windows 10 or Kali Linux

So far I prefer 10 to 7 or 8. Must remember to make a note of the key, thanks.

RE: More songs thread

D'oh me that was in reply to the Sacred Spirit - Yeha-Noha song above.

RE: More songs thread

Haven't heard this song in years. I used to have a tape called Pure Moods, this was on it along with Enya and Enigma. Lovely music.

RE: Irish Water - Will you pay the bills?

If IW stays, I'm sure the bills are only going to increase. Right now, I'd rather pay the €40 odd every 3 months than get a massive bill this time next year because I haven't paid.

RE: Irish Water - Will you pay the bills?

I think democracy went out the window a long time ago blues

RE: Treat them mean, keep them keen

All sounds like game-playing to me. Treat people as you would like to be treated is my motto. I don't agree with anyone's idea of 'treating them mean to keep them keen'. Does it work? Maybe, in some cases. I wouldn't want to be with someone who treated me like that. Nor would I think a whole lot of a guy who's willing to be walked all over. It's hard to respect someone who doesn't have respect for themselves, or gumption.

RE: Irish Water - Will you pay the bills?

I've paid mine after much deliberation. I just thought if I don't pay now, I'll have a whopping amount to pay later, so, I caved in.

RE: What's in your mind part 28

That's fair enough.

RE: Would you take a lie detector test ?

To be honest,I don't think I would. I don't take fondly for my honesty to be questioned, as I am actually too honest and have been told this on many occasions. I'd question my partner's lack of trust in me and put it down to him, to be honest. It's often the person doing the accusing that is the guilty party. If you'd asked me this questions years ago, I would have said 'yes' without a second thought. I suppose life has taught me some lessons :)

RE: More songs thread

RE: The Irish are Alcoholics

Hmmm....yeah....
A first nag is not something that is easily remembered like a first kiss, first love or a first heartbreak. I don't remembered the first time I 'nagged' but I prefer the term 'give direction' laugh

RE: The Irish are Alcoholics

I'm a woman. It's what I'm programmed to do. grin

RE: Do you think the death penalty should be introduced to Irish courts?

I guess you're against the death penalty?
I'm for it, purely because there are some crimes people have committed/commit that are just evil, that's the only word I can come up with. I feel why should they be allowed to live? A prison sentence isn't all that bad is it? With the chance of parole....criminals in jail often live better than some of us on the outside....not that I envy their life. Then I question is a 'quick death' punishment enough? The way I see it is at the end of the day the death penalty is not something that is decided by one person alone. It only takes one person to end the life (by pulling the switch) and while they cannot anticipate what that will be like or what the repercussions will be, it's the part they play because they agreed to taking on the role. It's certainly not something I could do and wouldn't envy anyone who does. How can one detach themselves from such a situation?

RE: Do you think the death penalty should be introduced to Irish courts?

I've watched the video. I can't imagine and I don't want to imagine what it is like to have to give the order to flick the switch or be the person whose job it is to flick the switch to end a life. It is playing God, but they are doing a 'job' they signed up for. I don't know that anyone can prepare or be prepared for such a job.

RE: The Irish are Alcoholics

I think you mean goggles tongue

All of the above could be said for ye men too laugh
