When I was still staying with my parents, and was consuming alcohol. My father would ask me: were you drinking again? I would reply with this voice where the tongue word coordination is a bit out, no dad I had a paralytic stroke, also affecting speech. after the fifth night in a row using the same excuse. My father would instruct my mother to take me to the doctor to sort out my serious medical condition. Only joking.
Never consumed alcohol and never will, have seen life’s destroyed by it (people close to me).
I love working with people. Will have 400 odd people reporting to me. Engineers are lone rangers, working on their own, always have to sort out other peoples' problems. But at least I am doing a MBA as well, so I will be a over qualified miner, but it makes me happy. Love getting dirty and laying the smack down...
I'm still single, for now anyway. It is only 10 000 miles from South Africa. I have unconfirmed plans for March, but will try my best to be at CS get together in April, would really like to meet some new friends.
I am a fairly funny guy, and will provide some entertainment (Doing a George Bush and Mandela stand up, etc....).
Don't want to brag, but I won 2 silver medals for Ballroom and Latin dancing in a reginal competition a few months back. Stopped though don't have a partner anymore. No correlation between dancing and being a good lover (lol).
I never get flower, except from some of my friends in CS (OK they are only 2). I will always reply, to them (no word of lie - South African for scout’s honor). I think it is more rude to rate someone's photo a 1. I've had a few of those, but fortunately it seems like the more mature (note I did not say older) ladies tend to rate my photos high, maybe only courteous but thanks anyway. So I do not send flowers that often anymore, but I rate ALL photos 8 and higher. At least I make a few people's day (EVERYDAY)......
