No I havent had to use it but Ive held it in my hand when I was walking down the street. I was in a bad part of town and these people pulled up and got out chasing this guy with a metal rod right toward me. I got out of the way fast and held it in my hand just in case. I was freaking out, Ive never had to deal with that kind o thing before( Im from a small town where I graduated in a class of 37 kids).
Where I live now is relatively safe. When I got off work tonight I rode my bike home a couple of miles at 1 am so it must not be too bad

There is some crime where I live but its not like Detroit or anything. There is some gang activity but not a lot of shootings. Where I actually live is more suburblike. I go near where there is high crime like the busstop and stuff. You want to be careful after dark. I have pepper spray, not a gun. Its the good kind though that paints your attacker blue . My Dad got it for me when i worked third shift....
The first one, I married too young( 18). He turned out to be very controlling and mentally abusive. Second I married someone too young( he was 18, I was 23). Both marriages lasted five years apiece. My second husband cheated on me with my married friend. It was very painful and I miss being married very much.
I have felt that way about someone once. we talked on the phone for hours for weeks before we met. then he was kind of a jerk, he didnt want to talk about anything like he used to... that relationship lasted a month too long
