I believe human contact is necessary for survival. Therefore, I frequently visit nursing homes...just to give hugs and pat hands. To be rewarded with the smile that one small touch brings is priceless. I work on a daily basis with homebound elderly, and they thrive on the small gestures of a rub on the back, a simple hug, or just holding their hand.
I am a VERY touchy-feely person. Love to be held and to hold.....nothing better.
There is an ad on my local radio station for a website where you buy a dozen roses and get a dozen free. Do you give one dozen to you wife and the other dozen to your girlfriend?? A dozen to two different girlfriends.......six roses to four different girls.....or just stand on the corner and hand out 24 to women who walk by????? I just don't understand!!!!!!
RE: Reach out and touch someone.... How important is touch?
But ship....please?????
