Yesterday, friend of mine sent me a picture of his 7 days old son. When I saw that little baby, I become to soften, happy, smiling whole day, tenderness…… That baby is so beautiful, so small, sugary, nice… How you feel when see a picture of such innocent, clean, defenseless, sweet little baby?
How you make choice with which person you will start conversation? By her/him profile or by picture? Did you think even once; “…But she/he look likes so nice” And after few speaking you change your mind. Why? What is your worst experience on connecting singles?
That is shamefully for them: “You can not remember me? – I am nice, beautiful, fine.... (What else they usually say to me...?)” And after few days I got the same massage???
Reading all your posts, I comprehend something. Man likes Lovely woman more, which can speak sweet words and what they wish to hear in that moment. If that woman is clever one, she will know what to tell in certain moment. In so for she has excellent looks, she has more chance to success. And to conquer that man. But dose she likes you or your bank account, or your way of living? (I speak about long term relationships or marriage, not about dating) You will figure out that after few years. When she get what she wants and all what you offer her becomes border to her, she starts with alcohol or walk away – to find someone how will admire to her more or who have biggest bank account. One my friends told me: “You can be sweet, lovely, nice..... And you can “catch” any gay...” But I prefer to be “catch” from that gay, I still believe in love, in sincerely heart.... And I start to learn to live alone – from today; I am to “hard” case to everyone.
For me intelligent person is someone who has next attribute: - Have ability to quickly adapt for some new and strange situation, as good as new conditions - Ability to leading good conversation with different kind of people - Understanding ( accepting or refuse) new ideas (but if you refuse it do it with good explanation) - Quickly and easier ability to learn. - Ability to solve some situation on the best way, taking care to others which involved in that situation. - Taking care what others filing, without imperil himself/herself - Intelligence woman/man knows where the limit is. But intelligence have a strong connections with our moral, culture, way of thinking....If someone is really good in his job, that does not mean he is intellect, that could means that he has talent for that area.
These really make a problem to intelligent person:” intelligent person seek to know the unknown before committing to what it can offer”. Also, problem is (this is from my experience) they try to approach with open heart and mind to everyone, accounting on same approach from another side to them. Do not make any calculation, just try to find understanding, nice conversation – on the same intellectual level (without necessary to “draw” what they mean), to be nature (I do not have needs to introduce myself in best light)..... Usually said: “You are amazing woman”.....but going further.... I can not find where I make mistake? I am “amazing”, someone who do not ask anything from another side, do not play any games – try to don’t make others what I don’t whish to others do to me. Try to do not hurt someone (I do not like to hurt me), be honest, have time and understanding for everyone, listening their problems ... sometimes I going out from circle (We thinking that we are center of world – sometimes is good to go out from that center and make retrospective on our lives, you can see better what’s going on if you are out of circle)..... I am not lonely, I am just alone – that’s big difference.
I still wonder if "overthinking", over analyzing and setting ones requirements in a partner in the beginning of a relationship to such a high standards could be the culprit of many intelligent people still remaining single.
A object when new functions perfectly, when choosing a partner when they are "new" they are as you somewhat flawed or have yet to adjust or grow into the position of being a perfect mate.
I believe thats the task and building blocks of love. growing together, learning and knowing each other to accept and compromise. Change is inevitable, being single or otherwise. Knowing the future when alone is and always will be a much easier task for an intelligent person, being single is easier when wehave used our intelligence to provide for ourselves for so long.
Afterall intelligent people can always find a multitude of ways to satisfy whatever yearnings, wants and needs arrive on their own.
Maybe thats a reason the"pretty dumb" gets the attention. their needs, wants and desires are more readily visible and easier to see.
In my case appearance dose not matter. Man must have soul, intelligence, to respect me as person, ….. I didn’t make generalized statements , I just pay attention what’s happening around me. And wrote that.
I notice something: men’s prefer beautiful women without intellect more than wise one. – That’s going on in my country. Are the same in the others, too?
What man’s think: (my opinion) “Clever” one: can not love on the same way, worst lover….. or they are strong enough, brave, say openly what you think and what you feel, ….. because of that man’s can not cheating , become competitor , afraid…? What???
They don’t know that kind of woman are more tender, more emotional, own emotional intelligence, too can be man’s support, and with compromise can realize any idea.
Or they afraid of obligation?
Sometimes, wish to become stupid one, to have always smile on face and say only nice words which others like to here. Santa, do you hear me?
Because we made picture about person from “another side” as we imagine her/him. And after few conversations we understand that imagination is false. Usually that cause our disappointment, and next time when we try to meet someone we do it with less courage and less will. Jokes which we make or some sentence other side do not understand on the way which we wont. All that make problems to take another step – I think.
What you mean when you said: “to have someone”. Always after that, we try to change our habits or to change person which we have. That is majority problem. On that way we become somebody else. Or he becomes somebody else. I like to have someone to walk with me, step by step. To respect him as good as he respects me. To become two parts connecting in one mind, one soul, one body.
Sorry if I make some mistake in writing ? Most man which I meet does not have enough time to know me. I am someone who believes in Love. When I see some old couple to walk together, start to smile...That is something ......value. I try to find someone who will have enough time to know me better, who will find my soul: “It will be perfect crime if I stole your soul and you stole mine”. To walk with me, not behind not in front, WITH me, together. Step by step, in bad or good. But romantic is dead. No one does not have time, do not have wish..... And I stay alone. For me is better to stay alone, do stop spent my emotions on people which do not deserve that.
