We tried that already. Mimi Gonzales almost convinced them she was seeking asylum from the violence in Honduras until the border agent noticed that she was using chopsticks to eat tacos!!!
Whine, whine, whine. Mimi's always dying usually at around 2:00am her time.I explained to her about how long it would take to get a visa and she said she understood. Less than 2 weeks later she started asking me if I had any news. Over and over again I told her about the long wait and she always told me she understood but became more and more despondent. When the initial approval came she was jubilant and was no longer "dying " Now she's worrying about starving to death as if the USA ( the melting pot of the world) wouldn't have any food she would care to eat. Lolol !!!! Its true that I could live for awhile in Malaysia until I had a medical issue then my Mimi would send me to the local Chinese "witch-doctor" to pick up a packet of caterpillar eyebrows or dung beetle pinworms to cure a heart attack or whatever. No thanks I'll take my chances here. Just so everyone knows I will always pay Mimi's expenses to fly back and forth to Malaysia as many times a year as she wants. My poor, poor little Mimi. I think if I hear anymore then I'll be the one dying. Lolol "Err" I'm crazy about that girl!!!!!!!!!
"I confess" I'm really only 43 years old. I had to lie about my age because it was the only way to start a conversation with Mimi. Anyone on here or the blogs that knows Mimi understands she only goes for men "with one foot in the grave." It worked and now she's mine!!!!!! "Err" on a side note I only look this old on my profile pics because I was very sick when they were taken.
Inthewoods, Yes, Peyton Manning made us here in Omaha famous during football games whenever he was on the field. When he looked over the defense he would "bark" out plays to his teammates and then yell "Omaha,Omaha." I always got a kick out of that. My daughter and her husband live in Thornton,Co.
Garlands As a former combat Marine Viet Vet (67-68),I thank you for your words. although hardly a flag waver and keep my personal war expierence to myself, I've kept this quote from a retired Marine in my wallet for several years and would like to share it
"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. A man who had nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself." Lol. Compared to fine chocolate made around the world then your right about the American varieties. I had a choice to make, should I give Mimi a box of fine chocolate or something made close to my home. I guess it was a hit because after the first night she tried to hide it from me.
