Malheureusement non, mes enfants ont été élevés en Néerlandais. Mon père (il était de Paris) est décédé quand j'avais 15 ans. Depuis, je n'ai pas beaucoup utilisé la langue française....Je dois utiliser davantage la langue Français, si vous n'utilisez pas la langue pendant longtemps, vous devez parfois penser à trouver les bons mots. Heureusement je parle aussi anglais!

A country like the US, I can't understand the policy around health secure, and support to people whom are unemployed... ( you got food stamps, we got a benefit of $ 1500 a month, and help from an organization to get back a job quickly)

A friend of me was infected in april, she's still recovering.. but she was in intensive care for 4 weeks ( in a coma) she needed to learn everything like a newborn, she's still recovering... ( and, she's only 45 years old, so not in the high risk group) Wishing you recovering back soon Jac

About your other comments on the end I can say that I don't close myself up, on the contrary I'm always around people ( my profession) but I stick to the security measures (keeping your distance is the most important) Your last sentence make me laugh at loud! Ask the Netherlands for example, they believes in Group immunity.. ask them now! Same as Sweden, the difference between the Netherlands and Sweden has certain sparsely populated areas where covid is almost non-existent. Group immunity could be successful there, but not for the whole country. Yers, there are protests, in Rome, Madrid, Paris, some places in Australia, and some others... Mostly people are tired of all these rules and measures, but not because Covid, isn't real...
We pay high taxes on your wage. Those taxes are for our health insurance, pension, and so one.. Belgium is having one of the best health insurance systems of the world, besides Canada.
We also receive paid holidays, and an end-of-year bonus in December, and holiday pay in July. Everyone is entitled to at least 21 (paid) leave days, I myself have 60 paid holidays per year
Serious Bob,.. so all those infected Covid 19 people worldwide ( 45,866,400) who tested positive, are not really infected by Covid 19 you say? Am I understand you correctly? That's not an option in Belgium... even when you've symptoms, you need to work. For example one of my co workers has symptoms, and she can get a test on Monday, the results will be available on Wednesday. She need to continue working till she know the results of her test. Even when the doctor advice you to stay home, we can't... all the people in the health and social sector needs to work. Our hospitals are full, it's really dramatic!
It's frustrating! I'm working almost around the clock every day, a lot of my co workers tested positive for Covid, but symptoms or not, I need to go to work. I work in a residential setting with teenagers and young adults with mental health issues and a criminal background. Currently working in the quarantine group with positive tested boys. I'm sick and tired about the whole Covid situation...
