Access to children

Thank you for your comments and also thank you for reading my post properly. I took the little girl on over 6 years ago when she was 3 she is now 9.

Access to children

She's nine!!!

Access to children

Not quite sure where the age 12 came from I think you need to read the first line of my post again.

Access to children

For the past 6 years or so I been a sort of surrogate daddy to a little girl that has now turned 9, I dated her step mother for around 3 years on and off including us living together for around 2 years as a family when her step mother and father split up and when we ourselves split up I carried on seeing the little girl most weekends for 2 or 3 sleepovers and the occasional few days and nights during the school holidays for a further 3 years or so. I have been in the child's life just over 6 years now and we love and adore each other as if we were blood related and although she doesn't call me daddy she always introduces me as such to her friends.I have more or less taught her all the life skills she now has from reading and writing, tying her shoe laces, riding a bike, swimming, telling the time etc but now her step mother (who owes me 13,000 euros and refuses to pay me back) has decided I can no longer see the little girl and is keeping her away from me which is breaking my heart and is obviously not doing the child any good.

I am just wondering that although we weren't married and I am not blood related I still took the little girl on and brought her up as my own including living with her for 2 years as I say and doing all the daddy stuff from changing nappies and putting her to bed at night and reading bedtime stories to clothing, bathing, feeding her etc if there is there any action I can take or people I can talk to or am I entitled to any sort of access?

I would also like to point out that when her step mother went back to the UK on 2 different occasions once for 3 weeks and another time for a week she left the child with me and was very happy to do so.

At the end of the day her step mother and I have been arguing about the money she owes me for several months now and a few nasty names and words have been exchanged which is why she seems to have done this, it is the only way she can hurt me and she is using it to her full advantage..

Kids and movies

A quick question for those with kids or grandkids would you let your 8 year old daughter watch the movie Blue lagoon?

RE: The logical song

Crime of the century is a far better even if less successful album.

Finally a decent response to my thread thank you.

Unaid rent

Not sure how it can be vague given the amount of information I have put in my post but anyway, I have my original contract which is all legal and above board, dated, stamped, initialed at the bottom of each page, witnessed and with actual 'paper' stamps from the authorities which they in themselves have been rubber stamped. What I am saying is my contract states that my deposit is to be used in the event of unpaid rent and during 2 months lockdown I didn't pay any so in effect my deposit was used for it's original purpose but my old landlord is still demanding the 2 months rent from me.

Unaid rent

I have already posted this in the EU forum section but I thought I would get more response from posting in here so apologies for repeating myself.

Up until a year ago I owned a business here in Cyprus and when I initially took it on there was obviously a contract drawn up between myself and the landlord, I paid the equivalent of 2 months rent as a deposit
(1200 euros), a months rent (600 euros) to secure the business so he wouldn't let it to anybody else and another months 600 euros rent up front so a total of 4 months rent before I had even opened the doors. In my contract it stated/states that the deposit was to be used in the event of any damages to the building or in lieu of unpaid rent, now during our first lockdown here which was for 2 months the business was shut and I didn't pay rent and I sold the business a week or so before the re-opening which by this time the new owners had taken over and as far as I am concerned my 2 months deposit covered the unpaid rent as stated clearly in my contract for the 2 months during lockdown but the landlord is still demanding the 2 months rent from me, any thoughts?

Rising cases

Yes I agree 429 with no new deaths is good but a couple of weeks ago before they opened up the hotels with special low rates for residents and locals here in Cyprus we were down to around 50 a day, there has been a sharp daily increase since then.

Rising cases

Don't see anywhere in my post or reply that states I am an anti-vaxer as you put it.

Rising cases

The same could be said about the people that have had the jab really, I have friends who's life long friends wont even let them sit at the same table in a pub as them now because they haven't had the jab.

Rising cases

According to the Cyprus Mail on Thursday there were 429 new covid cases but no new deaths on Wednesday and some people that have been vaccinated are blaming the slowly but surely rising numbers on the people that have not, hmmm so it has nothing to do with the fact that 1000's of people are now travelling all over the island to stay in hotels in different towns and cities at the weekends or the fact that the border crossings are now open again?
It wasn't too long ago that the highway between Paphos and LImassol was closed with police check points every now and then to try and contain the spread of covid but now people are allowed to go wherever they like and run the risk of catching or passing on the disease, personally I can see another, more stringent lockdown coming in the not too distant future.

Vaccine

No change in diet and the guy has lived here over 9 years getting bitten to pieces every day but since the vaccine nothing.

Vaccine

So no answers to my actually question then!

Vaccine

Quick question folks, a friend of mine out here in Cyprus used to get bitten to pieces by all and sundry, mosquitos, sand flies, midges (his word, he's Scottish) etc but since he has had the first jab he hasn't been bitten at all has anybody else experienced the same thing?
