I am only on this site a bit over a week. It is a great site. Some dead sound people in the forums. Great threads to chat and give your opinions of anything and everything. And some great jokes to cheer you up on a bad day. Way better than the pub any day.

Do you know this other girl? Has he ever mentioned her before? A bit of a coincidence that he brings her up now.... He could be trying to manipulate you and force you into going back with him before you are ready. I would be very careful. Dont let yourself be manipulated. If he gets away with it once, he will always do it. I dont see why he had to bring up other girl for any other reason. I could be wrong of course. Take time out anyway and give things serious thought....

I was on MSN site years ago, and took forever to come up with name that wasnt already picked... Finally came up with DrinkLink... Dropped the Drink and added Loopy instead. All those years of drinking made me Loopy anyway...

Well said Cathy, I was a bit weary of putting pic up since I am now living (and working) in small village. Was afraid someone would recognise me. But then I figured if someone is looking up site in first place, then they are not too far from my own situation. I think its the old Irish still in us in a way. Its still hard to admit that online dating sites are the only decent way to meet people. Far better than the local pub anyway....

I thought you had to sign up before you got past first page? I could be wrong tho, as friend told me about site, and I joined up straight away without trying to browse. I know in paying sites, that you get to browse profiles without paying. Maybe this is same....? Dont imagine they let people into forums without signing up as member....

I think it is brilliant. The fact that it is free helps big time. Have tried a few other sites, but much nicer people on this one. The forums a great way to suss people out. And great way to chat to other women and not just men. This is more like a friendship site than a dating site which I like....

My eldest lad just got up there. (he is 9) He has a mouth ulcer and was wondering why his bonjela was broken in half and empty (left beside his bed)... I think the cat got it...Wonder can a cat overdose on bonjela

And as I said earlier in thread, Divorce finalised tomorrow. So no work. Long weekend and plenty of celebrating... Just have to appear in court in morning and then party time....

Yeh, mine was too. Thought it was just my connection. Every so often it tells me that page has timed out or something similar. Although getting a bit better now. My connection always slow.

Never tried it mixed with brandy... but sometimes I put a drop of Milk in it. Actually makes it real creamy.... and also makes the bottle last longer... Iced cold milk...

As regards the court, there is no contesting, so should be over fairly quickly.

McCormacks is the Supervalue version of Baileys....Really nice.. Its made on wine rather than whiskey, but I prefer it to the Baileys..

Good tonight now that I have laptop back. Was completely lost during week. Always felt something missing when I sat down at night. Now I know...The laptop on my lap....and chatting away...

Got court tomorrow to finalise Divorce, so having a drop of McCormacks and chilling out...

Hi Irishlass, Computer has gone for ever... so saving for a laptop. Borrowing my dads when I can in the meantime. As for pubs in Dublin, its been a long time since I went drinking there, that I dont know any of the good ones anymore. Ones that I used to go to are probably gone by now.
