to all who have so candidly and bravely shared, thank you and i can't say how happy i am none of you succeeded. i too have been there on occasion, succeeded in a way once but was brought back. my brother unfortunately was more successful. i share this not for pity, but for the fact that too often the subject goes undiscussed. what i learned from what i went through, what i saw my parents go through, was that it is those of us left behind that truly suffer. a permanent scar which shall never heal. a scar that has kept me from putting those around me through that again. i would normally never share such personal info, especially in a forum, but if my experience helps anyone change their perspective and see things through the eyes of others, i will put myself out there. we are all just one bad day away from forever.
this world is just a neutron in an atom in a grain of sand on a beach in an hourglass of time on a planet in a solar system in a galaxy in a universe in a run on sentence in a thought in a mind
i watched that interview, i thought it was quite good, michelle and him are really down to earth, intelligent people, i not only respect them for their grasp of the issues, and plans to deal with them, but for their strong values and ability to remain so grounded and at ease. they are genuine, that is rare in politics.
