RE: Appearance vs Personality

Yes, I can buy that. Great post.cheers

RE: Appearance vs Personality

thumbs up

No...not at all. I understand where you are coming from. I am always skeptical first of any research. I just try and connect it to what I have observed and experienced, internally and externally.

I agree with you Portiea, I even mentioned it in my earlier post in this thread, it pretty much is an individual thing. If you do a numbers crunch, then we can see a basic trend that talks in numbers...numbers separately and it does not define each individual....

RE: Appearance vs Personality

No quarrels there. However, I do need to be physically attracted to somebody if I am gong to be with them. I just can't kiss a woman all night with inner beauty if I am not physically attracted to her. That is how it is.

RE: Appearance vs Personality

That was deep Bowie and food for thought.thumbs up

Do you believe Atlantis existed?

Yes, the oil companies who have their political cousins do not want us to hear of eco/green solutions that would save the people a tremendous amount of money, and cut their profits and power away.

Read my opening post on the energies you speak of.

RE: The weirdest/strangest person you dated.

jaw drop confused

RE: The weirdest/strangest person you dated.

That dude surely was mental. So much for first impressions huh!

RE: Appearance vs Personality

I would give my theories, but you would say science fictionlaugh

But on the for real side, percentages and reserach would dictate that men care more of physical appearances, and that women care more of personality attributes.

What are your thoughts Portiea?wine

Do you believe Atlantis existed?

Yes, natural disaster it was that destroyed Atlantis. So in essence, humanity had to start over. There the few ones who did escape the huge cataclysm, and that knowledge was carried on to Egypt, and even remains today....it is called occult knowledge. And it is coming back to us today little by little.

Why is it so hard to think that a civilization can be more advanced than today's? What if our world went under and we had to start over? We would be back in the stone age if you will. Then another civilization would build up.

Yeah, today's society is so advanced huh? They say technology is good for us....how do they know? What good has it done with our spirituality, love and understanding. Somebody tell me. Please. And tell me everybody is happy, not on Prozac,, divorces never happens as well as wars and corrupt governments. Tell me.

Do you believe Atlantis existed?

Yes....I have heard such theories. I also read a lot of material that when Atlantis existed, there existed a parallel civilization on Mars. Mars and Earth had simultaneous civilizatons existing side by side. And certain people were able to travel back and forth.

I can run with this theory if anyone wants to hear it. Just come with an open mind and throw out what science and history has taught you. Get yourself outside the box. Not saying it's true, but why do so many people deny an alternate truth to what is forced down our realities with today's version of truth.....the rabbit hole gets deeper....take the red pill.....laugh

Do you believe Atlantis existed?

Goose, you are in luck. Funny how I was reading this book about the researchers of Atlantis. I went ahead and typed what the book said pertaining to your idea of polar shifting. Here you go:

"The American researcher Charles Hapgood claimed the surface of the Earth had moved by some 3,000 miles around 10000BC. Rocks that contain iron act like a compass. As the molten rock cools, the molecules align with the north pole and even if those rocks are moved they continue to hold that connection. This allowed Hapgood to establish that before abut 10000BC the physical north pole had been located on the land in the region occupied today by the Hudson Bay in Canada.
But something happened around that time that moved the whole surface of the Earth 3,000 miles to the south, thus relocating the land of the then North Pole to the Hudson Bay area. This is not as fantastic as it at first sounds. The land surface, or crust, of the planet, is only about 40 miles thick. It has been likened to the skin of and orange resting on a sea of molten lava. If a meteor or another major body impacted the Earth it could cause the crust to slide and, according to writer and researcher, Colin Wilson, there is geological evidence that this has happened three times in the last 10,000 years.

Measurements of the Earth's magnetic field have shown that the north and south magnetic poles hae changed places at least 171 times in the past 76 million years and imagine the effect of a magnetic pole shift on the weather alone."

RE: Would you quit job, sell car, house, tv and move after someone if you had fallen in LOVE?

Awesome Aries. I really like your posts in this threadthumbs up Way to put your foot down and defend the old school's way of thinking about love. I really do like how you can leave the luggage behind you and give people and your future a fair chance. You really do put yourself in the best position to be happy today and tomorrow. cheers Like they say, if you can trust yourself, than you can trust others.....

Who cares. I am not wasting time to read this thread. I have stayed out of this thread just because. You made your point. Go celebrate. It's you against the world.

That must hurt....but a skillful act indeed.

RE: HAS ANYBODY GOT ANY SKILLS THAT THEY'RE QUITE PROUD OF ?...AND WANT TO TALK ABOUT ?

I can hit really well. I am a good breaking ball hitter. I stay back as I recognize the spin. I can hit to all fields with power...more of a gap to gap hitter. Baseball is in my blood. Hitting to me is very artistic. I like to perfect my art. The only problem I have is with change ups.

RE: I Miss Him...

True, I do feel for the candidates for the balancing act they have to pull off. They have no choice but to take certain money if they want a chance.

RE: Would you quit job, sell car, house, tv and move after someone if you had fallen in LOVE?

So you moved to Frisco for love and away from your daughter? I am guessing there is a lot to this story and it is none of my business. I moved away from Frisco to Sweden because of love and my son. I went nuts knowing that I was not there to watch my son grow up. So I reconciled with my sons mom, and the best decision at the time was to move to Sweden. I was 26. My son was 3. I'm 35 now and I don't regret the decision. I don't know what I am saying, but I just know that if I would have stayed in Frisco, I would have been very uncomfortable with myself.

I don't know your situation and sorry to bring it up. You seem kinda shook up. I would just suggest from experience, to be close to your daughter.

RE: I Miss Him...

laugh yeah I got it. But you are stretching it for drawing those conclusions of yesterday and today. Different dynamics, very different dynamics. scold

RE: Would you quit job, sell car, house, tv and move after someone if you had fallen in LOVE?

Isn't it hard being away from your daughter? So far?

RE: I Miss Him...

You just don't get it. If you did, you would not have spun tom's quote like that. Nothing personal, but it seems that you are not that in tune with the campaign process in America. I'm not saying it's the best cause of the corporate money that flows in to the politicians and the favors that are returned, but have a clue at least.

RE: please give good luck

good luck good luck good luck The Force will be with her.
