To me the English are not like the Americans skinny cousin. The Americans I have spoken to seemed quite arrogant and they always want to be 10 times bigger than you on every single aspect. The English I've spoken with seemed more down to Earth and were more humble about their accomplishments.
I don't see why it would have to turn ugly, i just asked a simple question. Nothing wrong with that. Now the real problem would be if i had to think twice before saying something or even asking a question.
What does it say in your ID on ''place of birth? Does it say England or UK? Think about it. It could be classed as a home nation not as a country or what we know as a country.
I wanna hear people's opinions about England. Mostly from foreigners who had travelled there and know first hand. Who says they are going to be generalised?
