RE: Would you date a guy much shorter than you? Would you date a lady much taller than you?

It's true! for me at least, and I know it to be so since the age of 12 .my first real crush/boyfriend, a red headed buck toothed, freckled faced kid, who could have been my dad's twin at the same age. to me my dad was a middle aged balding man 5'9" with light strawberry blond/gray hair, glasses and a mustache. worlds apart to a 12 year old ,my Aunt (dad's sister) pointed it out to me and pulled out pics to show me. What a way to find out about my Freudian tendencies. the guys I'm attracted to seen to be similar to my dad in some way about half the time.
back to the topic, I have dated a short guy, we were the same hight 5'4" but he was a red head too.

I am short and don't mind dating a shorty...my tallest boyfriend was 6'4" and he was nothing like my dad

RE: If you were lucky enough to find happiness here....could you give up your Internet Social Life?

RE: Who wants to be Rescued???

I don't need to be rescued . But I don't want to be alone. I would like to have a good person in my life. I am alone because I have not made a lasting connection yet.
Being alone is not like drowning ...I'm not going to dieangel ...

but I would like a little mouth to mouthflirty

RE: Has anyone met there better half on this site

it could never hurt to elaborate about yourself. Truthfully I am more likely to contact a person that has a put more time and effort into their profile. I like it when I "get a taste" of what a person is like by their profile. the more you say about yourself the more chances women have to find something special in you. Be yourself but a little spice can't hurt.

I tweek my profile often

I don't think any one is ment to be alone

RE: Ladies, I need your help..do you agree with....

Some apples have weak stems and fall from the tree easily, other apples have thick skins and can withstand the fall. If you've ever gone apple picking you'll know that not all the apples on the ground are bad. bruised, maybe but not bad. most are still ripe, they just need someone that knows what to do with them.
take a bruised apple, peal it, cut any the dark part, add some sugar, rap it in pastry, bake with love and you'll get apple pie!
Baking a pie takes more time then just picking an apple but it's worth the work.

RE: need ideas

its might sound strange but I always feel better after a move the furniture around in my house. here are some reasons why I think it may help.
1 its a distraction
2 change is always good
3 it is physical work like exercise
4 it will give you a feeling of accomplishment
when I star moving stuff around I ALWAYS end up tossing junk away. Maybe clearing out some old (unwanted) clutter in you home will also help you clear out some *unwanted* feelings toosigh. think of your home as a metaphor for your head and heart. And if your whole house is too big a job, do it one closet and room at a time.

good luck good luck
I hope you feel better soon.

RE: If you were lucky enough to find happiness here....could you give up your Internet Social Life?

The internet is not going away. typingIt's a tool used to get information and stay in touch. the same thing could be said about the phone. If I were to take a lover would I stop calling other people? No . I would stop calling other potential loves. I would stop using this site, I would have no need for it any more. I think it would be disrespectful to the new "important" person in my life to keep looking around. I would want to focus on something real, something 3D. I would not give up my other sites , my games or facebook. I do think that being "with someone" would dip into the free time that I use to go on the net but it would be worth it.
