Ummm I agree obviously never been to oakey and little country towns that offer nothing other than pissing up against the back fence and cpounting the dead flies stuck to aunt lizzies fly paper and the same boring farts at the local pub with the ninety year old barmaid pulling flat beers. Seriously my best girl friend wrote me the other week and described this to me as follows.

The aussie male is unfortunately rather brash and primitive in his approach to women...I have found also very few women from overseas that have visited not attracted to them either..
When the english first settled here they had alcohol to soften the blow of tough living but by the 1840's they realised two things were missing...sheep and women..
The former they imported from Spain, a stroke of genius that set Australia on the economic map...the latter they brought over from the poor houses and orphanages of England. Sincew there was never enough to go around on can only visualize the frezied rush....Such a traumatic racial memory is hard to blot out in a mere century and the cult is sustained and revitalized in every pub in the country especially in the outback where the stereotypical image of the aussie male is so sentimentally clung to...The modern day manifestation is almost totally devoid of charm, he is biased, bigoted, boring and above all brutal...His enjoyments in life are limited to fighting shooting and drinking..Of course I am pidgeon holing and generalising here, there are always the few that step outside of the image they have carved but in hindsight...no..I am attracted both physically and mentally to very few men...

Girls please enlighten me is this true??

We all have one, we all drop in as well just like you seemed to, but we seem to have one that doesn't include an aggressive, pervasive pattern of negative attitudes and hominid behaviour. This is observed in children but when language skills develop your conscience should impel a certain moral behaviour.
Mate if you wish to inject something by all means do otherwise just simply avoid the forums.

Well if things are going along great why change things, no hurry mate. As kidatheart said it does not have to be 'the one'. I think if you put up a pre-conception about how things should be you will end up disappointed. Every relationship with anybody you gain from, either wisdom in knowing more about relationships and things you do and don't want as well as just learning to interact on a better level. Our journeys with people don't have to be forever, they are about giving and receiving whether they last a week, decade or lifetime, I think your girl is probably feeling the same so just relax mate and spend time enjoying yourself instead of worrying whther you are infact enjoying yourself.

Hey cutypie, australia is so diverse with landscape. We have desert treks as well as the lushness of rainforests. Probably not as wonderfully green as New Zealand but our uniqueness makes up for it. The daintree I highly recommend if you are after greenery. Watch the crocs though.

The strangest thing I have done elsewhere, when I stayed in Italy I went to the cinema and watched lord of the rings in Italian. Very entertaining to see hobbits speaking italian.
