Me either, I just get sick when any guy thinks women straighten out with a male using them and then gets graphic about it.
Then to jump Wish too as long as he's on a roll. I don't think so. Sigh the avenging angle would be proud of me I'm sure but these silences when I say anything not avenging just have to stop. I'm getting a dem complex here with that.
Actually it is fairly well known that exercise can help depression as well as a bi-polar condition. My mom is bi-polar and I've learned quite a lot about the condition both as her daughter trying to take care of her and as a personal search trying to figure her out.
The problem it should seem to me is that Bi-polars and anyone else who is being medicated for mental problems often are too eager to leave their medication and doctors advice behind them to magically find a solution that isn't medication that making them really out of it.
I've also found that a lot of doctors rely too much on "pushing pills" to correct problems and do not bother with suggesting exercise or even counseling for those suffering this way.
A balanced and careful approach to mental health problems is often difficult due to the fact we are talking about people who for one reason or another are out of balance. I wouldn't suggest going off of meds on your own or not telling your doctor but I am confident a exercise program would really help the depressed and bi-polar and doesn't require a Dr's advice just inform him and work with him to reduce medications if that is your goal.
Ok Wish, like I said I think it serves Obama very well to be in the spotlight. I saw some mention of that attention grabbing strategy of his earlier. As I thought about it I saw it may well be true. I looked at forums here and more forums elsewhere, it is true there too. Then there is the mainstream media seems to be happening more often now but it has been happening before this Jackson thing.
I'm not coming from a defensive place here. I just know you know the principals of journalism as well as advertising and thought you might be interested in my theory. By hook, crook or by happenstance I just see Obama more noticed than McCain is and I'm wondering about that.
It was funny to me, Wish my humor and balance are more in evidence. I would like for you and Tom in particular to hold what I'm saying this morning in mind and maybe watch with me to see if this is true what I see, Obama overshadowing McCain, if it is a trend and does it continue.
It's interesting stuff I think and I have a real feeling about this one. I know you are busy Wish but maybe you can keep it in the back of your mind and let me know what you think.
Maybe, I'm sure that's a part of it Conrad. But I've slao seen Obama nore on front page news, generally much more than McCain since he won the Dem nomination.
Then I noticed that on these forums and elsewhere, Reb's are discussing Obama and Dem's are discussion Obama. I kind of think this is a very good thing for my candidate don't you?
Do any of you have an opinion on GWB boy Rove? You can just imagine mine.
I've got to do more legal stuff today, it never seems to end me rying to protect mom from family taking her money. At least I got to feed the neighbors horses today too. That's a nice way to start the day.
Hi WisH Hi tom, I've noticed something, do you guy have a candidate to talk about or is McCain invisible? Cone to think of it I haven't seen anything on the news about him that I've noticed much either.
So on Dude's thread its all about he loves Obama and is pretty much totally misinformed about world politics. Here it is pretty much Obama bashing and rumors when you guys are together. Still about Obama
The news is all about Obama too everything he says does and now how there is a plot between hi and Jesse Jackson to get more news coverage by Jesse slandering him and saying Oops!
Now with everyone talking about him ( including ya'all ) and discussing his every move why in the world would that be necessary? So what about your man McCain is he so boring to you that you don't know what he is doing? Maybe he's perfect, ya that's it!
I'd never drag him to this party Indy I have more sense than that. I'm glad 'tho You don't think I'm Opal, I wonder sometimes with my long posts, looks kind of like her's don't you think?
Oh well I have to scoot, dragons to slay and horses to feed don't you know.
Naw each to their own poison. I guess it is just that it bugs me to take any of those guys slant as my own even the liberal ones who would be more closely aligned with my views.
Maybe this is more about bashing the opposition than I thought it was and I'm seriously trying to learn something from you all. Just call me Opal then and I won't interrupt your party.
Hannity & Colmes, Fox News Channel's primetime debate show, figures prominently in the cable network's campaign to market its right leaning programming as "fair & balanced," the network's ever-present slogan. Fox News executives argue that the show, pitting conservative Sean Hannity against liberal Alan Colmes with guests from both right and left, presents a spirited and evenhanded nightly debate.
Fox News president Roger Ailes is clearly riled by those who suggest the show has a slant to it (New York Times, 6/24/01): "I get attacked for putting Sean Hannity on because he's a conservative--even when Alan Colmes, the liberal, is there to balance him!" Ailes is so insistent that Hannity & Colmes plays it "down the middle" that he says producers use a stopwatch to ensure equal time between the two hosts (Washington Post, 2/5/01).
But a systematic review of Hannity & Colmes does reveal a show listing to the right in virtually every respect, from mismatched hosts--the show pairs the aggressive conservative Sean Hannity with the mildly liberal, often conciliatory Alan Colmes--to a format where conservatives out-number, out-talk and out-interrupt their liberal opponents.
Looks like you need a whole shaker of salt Tom. Everyone here listens to what you say because you are so smart. I do too. But when you bring them this kind of chew toy they are taking it as something with your stamp of approval instead of the more political separatist drivel that it is.
Me either Indy not even myself. I'm going to see what I can dig up on Toms last post. I think what they are saying are a lot of talking points aimed at rebubs just to freak them out. I could be wrong, I could be right.
Hey there Tom (wish, Indy Dave) I saw your post earlier that got everyone going about what you saw on Hannity and Colmes. Can I ask you do you do any fact checking of those guys before you post it?
Those old pres. never really go away do they. Lots of them keep attending ceremonies and lecturing. Maybe Bush would come out of retirement for such an occasion.
