yes it is sad but whats sadder is everyone arguing about it or saying what should have been done or what they would have done when they wasnt even there. no one knows what went through the passengers minds when all that happened right in front of them, but i can imagine it was tremendous fear
its easy as hell to say "if i was there i would have took that guy down no matter what it took" till your actually in that situation watching a man behead and hack up a body and eat pieces of it right before your eyes. if hes capable of that, you dont know what else hes capable of

no, he died in 2006 and hasnt written any song for pink floyd since probably 1968 when he had to quit the band. most songs pink floyd are know for were written after he left
