Speaking of such things...I saw a few pics in the past of guys that had obviously glued their heads on a body either from a magazine or from one they'd found on the internet...how funny!!!
I dont like days like this...I'm feeling extra lonely for some reason and I cant shake the feeling. Someone tell me about a good date or conversation on the phone that they've had lately. I know there's gotta be some good stories out there. C'mon..."make my day".
I've asked men out several times...but here's where it changes: When the "check" comes!! Most guys DO NOT want me to pay. I figure if I asked them out, I'll pay for the meal, etc.....I havent found one yet that would allow it.
I do know first hand that even though someone has been very UNselfish all their life, they can become more in tune with what they want over someone else if they've been taken advantage of and/or hurt....and hurt.....and hurt.
Maybe the initial question "are females selfish by nature"...comes from knowing a girl or two that has nobody to think about but themselves. Mothers (by nature) think of their family first. If I hear of a mother that doesnt....it's very rare, and very frustrating. Or, maybe this was just another way to get us going, again.
I wont show the name...but I just got this message in an IM:
Would you dunk a guy underwater if he was laying on his back in a very long extra deep bathtub full of water looking up at you with his hands tied very tight behind his back if he had dared ya to
It may be easier after the last date to see where he's going with it. It may take awhile longer to know how serious he really is. Maybe he just hasnt had a date in awhile, or he really does like you so far. I'd give it a little more time...even if all you do is just talk on the phone. You'll see pretty quick what he's wanting. Good luck.
In the past, I was a bit shy and intimated by men I was attracted to and missed out on opportunities that were available to me. I found out later some of guys felt the same way but they too were afraid of being turned down, etc. So, I learned the hard way....GO FOR IT!!!! All they can do is say no. Woohoo!!
There seems to be so much negative out there these days, especially the news! As a matter of fact, just last week I had a guy IM me and we started talking...while we were talking he started crying aboaut his ex, whining the entire time about how she wont talk to him. Geez...I tried to be nice and talked to him more than once..but he never stopped whining. I finally told him there was nothing I could do for him, and that I didnt need that sort of relationship. He thanked me for "dumping him early"...hahaha...we had talked maybe 3 times for a maximum of 5 minutes, tops!! I think it's quite nice to find someone that's joking, laughing and upbeat most of the time.
RE: why do smart people say dumb things?
That's cute.....Snipes picture just below Arabella's picture.....haha.
