What?

RE: connected in the universe

jesus dude it is ALL ONE THING!

RE: connected in the universe

First mistake, the universe is NOT separate EVERYTHING IS UNIVERSE!
I just use Universe to avoid that duality mistake that eventually screws up the semantics of the relationship.
basically we have a subjective relationship with existence.

(philosophy)
Cynicism is one of the most striking of all the Hellenistic philosophies. It claimed to offer people the possibility of happiness and freedom from suffering in an age of uncertainty. Although there was never an official Cynic doctrine, the fundamental principles of Cynicism can be summarized as follows:

The goal of life is eudaimonia and mental clarity or lucidity (?t?f?a)—literally "freedom from smoke (t?f??)" which signified false belief, mindlessness, folly, and conceit.
Eudaimonia is achieved by living in accord with Nature as understood by human reason.
Arrogance (t?f??) is caused by false judgments of value, which cause negative emotions, unnatural desires, and a vicious character.
Eudaimonia, or human flourishing, depends on self-sufficiency (a?t???e?a), equanimity, arete, love of humanity, parrhesia, and indifference to the vicissitudes of life (adiaphora ?d?af???a).
One progresses towards flourishing and clarity through ascetic practices (?s??s??) which help one become free from influences such as wealth, fame, and power that have no value in Nature. Instead they promoted living a life of ponos. For the Cynics, this did not seem to mean actual physical work. Diogenes of Sinope, for example, lived by begging, not by doing manual labor. Rather, it means deliberately choosing a hard life—for instance, wearing only a thin cloak and going barefoot in winter.
A Cynic practices shamelessness or impudence (??a?de?a) and defaces the nomos of society: the laws, customs, and social conventions that people take for granted.

The Cynics adopted Heracles, shown here in this gilded bronze statue from the second century CE, as their patron hero.

Thus a Cynic has no property and rejects all conventional values of money, fame, power and reputation. A life lived according to nature requires only the bare necessities required for existence, and one can become free by unshackling oneself from any needs which are the result of convention. The Cynics adopted Heracles as their hero, as epitomizing the ideal Cynic. Heracles "was he who brought Cerberus, the hound of Hades, from the underworld, a point of special appeal to the dog-man, Diogenes." According to Lucian, "Cerberus and Cynic are surely related through the dog."

The Cynic way of life required continuous training, not just in exercising judgments and mental impressions, but a physical training as well:

used to say, that there were two kinds of exercise: that, namely, of the mind and that of the body; and that the latter of these created in the mind such quick and agile impressions at the time of its performance, as very much facilitated the practice of virtue; but that one was imperfect without the other, since the health and vigour necessary for the practice of what is good, depend equally on both mind and body.

None of this meant that a Cynic would retreat from society. Cynics were in fact to live in the full glare of the public's gaze and be quite indifferent in the face of any insults which might result from their unconventional behaviour. The Cynics are said to have invented the idea of cosmopolitanism: when he was asked where he came from, Diogenes replied that he was "a citizen of the world, (kosmopolitês)."

The ideal Cynic would evangelise; as the watchdog of humanity, they thought it was their duty to hound people about the error of their ways. The example of the Cynic's life (and the use of the Cynic's biting satire) would dig up and expose the pretensions which lay at the root of everyday conventions.

RE: What subjects should Not be aired here...?

"Call a spade a spade" is a figurative expression. It refers to calling something "as it is"—that is, by its right or proper name, without "beating about the bush", but rather speaking truthfully, frankly, and directly about a topic, even to the point of bluntness or rudeness, and even if the subject is considered coarse, impolite, or unpleasant.

The idiom originates in the classical Greek of Plutarch's Apophthegmata Laconica, and was introduced into the English language in 1542 in Nicolas Udall's translation of the Apophthegmes, where Erasmus had seemingly replaced Plutarch's images of "trough" and "fig" with the more familiar "spade". It has appeared in many literary and popular works, including those of Oscar Wilde, Charles Dickens, Ralph Waldo Emerson, W. Somerset Maugham, and Jonathan Swift.

The Boondocks - Martin Luther King Speech

Black cartoon creator, black produced cartoon

(The_Boondocks)

"Return of the King" was the most controversial episode of The Boondocks's first season. The episode received criticism from Al Sharpton for depicting Martin Luther King Jr. using the term "nigga." He demanded an apology from Aaron McGruder and Cartoon Network, stating "Cartoon Network must apologize and also commit to pulling episodes that desecrate black historic figures. We are totally offended by the continuous use of the n-word in McGruder's show."

Cartoon Network replied by releasing a statement saying, "We think Aaron McGruder came up with a thought-provoking way of not only showing Dr. King's bravery but also of reminding us of what he stood and fought for, and why even today, it is important for all of us to remember that and to continue to take action." McGruder himself responded to Sharpton's criticism in The Boondocks comic strip, by having the characters ridicule the activist's choice to attack a cartoon over other, more relevant issues. The characters in the strip never specify the cartoon to which they're alluding. The incident was also referenced on the show, in the episode "The Block is Hot." While Huey listens to an internet radio station, the broadcaster mentions Sharpton: "Folks, this heat will not let up, it is hot! Speaking about hot, Al Sharpton is hot right now. Havin' a big ole protest. Seems his anger again has something to do with... I think it's a cartoon this time..."

(Q) What should be the attitude of so-called capitalist nations toward Russia?

(A) On Russia's religious development will come the greater hope of the world. Then that one, or group, that is the closer in its relationships, may fare the better in the gradual changes and final settlement of conditions as to the rule of the world.

(Q) Should the United States recognize the present government in Russia?

(A) Many conditions should be considered, were this to be answered correctly. You could say yes and no, and both be right, with the present attitude of both peoples as a nation, and both be wrong; for there is to come, there will come, an entire change in the attitude of both nations as powers in the financial and economical world. As for those of raw resources, Russia surpasses all other nations. As for abilities for development of same, those in the United States are the farthest ahead. Then these united, or upon an equitable basis, would become - or could become-powers; but there are many interferences for those already investments, those already under questions, will take years to settle.

Fungi and the Aspen tree

This is what I feel.

"Gnosticism (from Ancient Greek: ???st????, romanized: gnostikós, Koine Greek: , 'having knowledge') is a collection of religious ideas and systems which coalesced in the late 1st century AD among Jewish and early Christian sects. These various groups emphasized personal spiritual knowledge (gnosis) above the orthodox teachings, traditions, and authority of religious institutions. Gnostic cosmogony generally presents a distinction between a supreme, hidden God and a malevolent lesser divinity (sometimes associated with the Yahweh of the Old Testament) who is responsible for creating the material universe. Consequently, Gnostics considered material existence flawed or evil, and held the principal element of salvation to be direct knowledge of the hidden divinity, attained via mystical or esoteric insight. Many Gnostic texts deal not in concepts of sin and repentance, but with illusion and enlightenment. "

Language slips, phrasing that is off.

"I’m sorry how do you want me to talk to you tell me I’ll like to know did I commuted any error in my speech…"
same person.
That isn't even street slang.

Language slips, phrasing that is off.

from reading bio's and exchanging mails I see a LOT of women from the US, claiming to be native born and raised, who have language slips.
Usually it's in the phrasing.
"I’m from Ottawa,Illinois and Also I would want to tell you that there is something about us to talk about and to know much more about ourselves "
Like that.
I have ZERO issue with English as a second language, and I muself am a lazy typist and have kind of poor skills.
But either these women are working for someone, or they just consider most men just plain stupid because of the cute face.
Do women have the same problem?
Thanks

RE: The seven gifts of the Holy Spirit are

I'm lazy and my keyboard sticks on some keys and I just can't seem to see that red, best color choice option for the dark, all that well.
And honestly I often find badly translated stuff much more interesting,
Sometimes the depth is literally mind blowing.
