RE: Is Being Honest So Bad?

That's Dr Phil's advice too.

I didn't read all the earlier posts, so I did notice it was about cheating.

No one ever will thankyou for breaking the news.

RE: Is Being Honest So Bad?

Right on blondie.

Honesty will always be best in the long term.

Honesty also does not mean you have to blurt out everything either. Just tactful.

What is your favorite Beach (aka shore for cowgirldancer)

Forgot JB - Greenpatch, always good (and still in the ACT)

What is your favorite Beach (aka shore for cowgirldancer)

Favourite Beach

Realistically accessible - Broulee NSW
Visited and wish I had it nearby, - anything in Wilsons Prom. Waterloo Bay, Squeaky beach, Tidal River

Least - Yaralumla Bay.

RE: A DAILY SHORE THAT YOU LOVE TO DO OR ONE YOU DONT LOOK FAWARD TO

I think the mis-spelling leads to a good question about what is you favorite beach (shore)?

Will start it as a new thread.

Oh, I hate cleaning ovens and dripping trays.

And if I liked it, it wouldn't be a chore. I do miss cleaning the car, damn water restrictions. (even worse when you have them and it's raining.)

When do you call it a day with the weather?

I just did, one hour mountain bike ride - rugged up heavy coat, ski gloves and a bennie.

4km out the rain and sleet hit.....

RE: Single woman, would a guy with kids put you off?

Thanks Cowgirl

At least you and red get it.

Believe me, many just don't.

You still get the "you have a 'thing' for your ex" crap, because you talk to them at all. (yeah - that's why I left a nice house and rented a cold dump by myself, and paid $405 to the family court) I could scream sometimes.

I have a 12 year old, a 6 year old and a 4 yo girl (who is twice the work of two boys). I've been through 7-8 years of managing children through schools before I was divorced. And I have at least another 13-14 years of the same commitment ahead of me.

And like hell I'm not going to miss any school events, or have my children miss access to school/sports/activities just because I can't talk to their mother due to a new partner/girlfriend.

Wow, where did that come from?

This site is good therapy.

When do you call it a day with the weather?

I really want, dying even, to get outside today, but our forecast is for a max of 7C, rain and wind.

Then again it's 4.3C currently (10:00am!) in my lounge room (just not bothering to heat it when the kids aren't here)

dunno

RE: Single woman, would a guy with kids put you off?

Thanks Red.

It didn't feel right to me either.

After my parent divorce I didn't see both of my parents in the same room until my sons Christening.

There's no way on earth I'm going to let my kids see that with me.

RE: what is you best or worst 1st date ?

I once came home with a date once many years ago. She considered herself to be a dog person/owner/expert.

When she met my red kelpie she was over friendly, too soon to fast. I warned her to take it easy. But was rebutted about how she owned two dogs and they all love her etc etc. The dog had only met her literally seconds before when she tried to rub him into the ground, the sort of thing a well known person to the dog could do, but not a complete strange.

Well it nipped her.. (not too bad, the warning nip) but it went down hill from there.doh

RE: Flirting

However I'm pretty old fashioned, I'll flirt my azzz off but would never make a first move on a guy.

Great, you know that just gets us guys in trouble if we make the first move

RE: Flirting

'cause it natural for Irish?

I've got some ancestry there, and therefore I'm pissed and posting

RE: Weirdest (or funniest) compliment you've been given.

It's amazing how many don't!drinking

RE: Weirdest (or funniest) compliment you've been given.

rolling on the floor laughing I'm sure most mechanics hear it too.

RE: True or False?

TRUE. lean but with a healthy amount of muscle.

The person below me wants to live somewhere else.

RE: Single woman, would a guy with kids put you off?

Totally agree.

RE: Highs and Lows

Low - Canberra winter power bill arrived, which lead to the discovery there is no insulation, and my landlord doesn't give a rats what I pay in electricity or my carbon footprint.

High - News the ACT getting compulsory Energy Efficiency Ratings for rental properties. (we've had them for home sales for about ten years and it made a massive difference) My landlord is going to get slammed with an EER0. banana that should cost him dearly. Karma

RE: Describe yourself in 1 word
