You still get the "you have a 'thing' for your ex" crap, because you talk to them at all. (yeah - that's why I left a nice house and rented a cold dump by myself, and paid $405 to the family court) I could scream sometimes.
I have a 12 year old, a 6 year old and a 4 yo girl (who is twice the work of two boys). I've been through 7-8 years of managing children through schools before I was divorced. And I have at least another 13-14 years of the same commitment ahead of me.
And like hell I'm not going to miss any school events, or have my children miss access to school/sports/activities just because I can't talk to their mother due to a new partner/girlfriend.
I once came home with a date once many years ago. She considered herself to be a dog person/owner/expert.
When she met my red kelpie she was over friendly, too soon to fast. I warned her to take it easy. But was rebutted about how she owned two dogs and they all love her etc etc. The dog had only met her literally seconds before when she tried to rub him into the ground, the sort of thing a well known person to the dog could do, but not a complete strange.
Well it nipped her.. (not too bad, the warning nip) but it went down hill from there.
Low - Canberra winter power bill arrived, which lead to the discovery there is no insulation, and my landlord doesn't give a rats what I pay in electricity or my carbon footprint.
High - News the ACT getting compulsory Energy Efficiency Ratings for rental properties. (we've had them for home sales for about ten years and it made a massive difference) My landlord is going to get slammed with an EER0. that should cost him dearly. Karma
RE: Is Being Honest So Bad?
That's Dr Phil's advice too.I didn't read all the earlier posts, so I did notice it was about cheating.
No one ever will thankyou for breaking the news.
