Why not ask the appropriate people who live or know of the situation at hand to give you a better understanding of their culture and economic situation...

Tell us how you really feel... I agree...marriage is an institution that subjects many women into slave like conditions... The word 'obey' was the first clue...it was a contract for slavery/ownership...a ceremony made to dupe women thinking this arrangement was a good thing...
Ali...The Hamas regime and others like them are also responsible...it seems that most of the average folk are at the mercy of those who take advantage of the situation for their own gains...we all lose in the end... The old adage of divide and conquer seems fitting...that is when we (the population) are most vulnerable to regimes that have ulterior motives... The list of culprits are far too long to mention...from both sides not just talking about the conflict you are speaking about... I am really concerned about the situation and hope for some kind of resolve...but it seems the powers that be might have a different idea in mind...
I have heard of Cabbies carrying baseball bats underneath their car seats...crowbars or whatever to defend themselves... The good part of a cashless society...cash is pretty non-existent due to the debit/credit machines...so I think the cab drivers are not a good target these days... Since COVID...many barriers were put up to protect against the spread...some haven't bothered to remove them...
I think the idea is reforming or at least getting her to realize the err of her judgment would still be considered...however there will not be any people feeling sorry for her...I wonder where the father is?... It seems that birth control and abortion are not something society needs...I just wonder how some people/governments can be so stanch in their ideology considering not everyone thinks about this kind of tragedy before it is too late... It is truly horrible that a person whatever the circumstance can leave a baby alone...and for that long not to think that harm could happen...
