I don't think we have met yet. Pleased to meet you. The first film that came to mind for me was 'To Kill a Mockingird'. It is based on a book by Harper Lee and directed by Robert Mulligan (I didn't know that part, had to research it). It starred one of my favourite actors - Gregory Peck. All involved were American. The whole production is great in my opinion because of the realism and the very powerful yet simple story that is told. It made me feel like I was in that little bit of southern American while I was watching it, and I think gave a very real depiction of what life was like there and then. JMO.
Hey Missy, Congratulations on staying smoke free (me too), and a big congratulations on find love (me too ). We just need to get Rockabilly aboard now. In practical terms, I have saved just under a 1000 Euros in smoke money and hopefully added a couple quality years to my life. Keep on keepin' on everyone.
Sommer, Lovely Lady, This is why I absolutely adore you. You are the only person I know who would poleaxe with skirt bunched around in modesty with attitude and disdain.
I will sleep now.
Talk soon Lovely Lady. Hoping you, Jan and V will still be coming by in the summer.
Nah....they loves yuh!!! If they have no pony tails/pig tails to put in the ink well. and if they have no one to call Anarchist ...well, life just is not quite that good then.....
haha....I grew up with 2 older brothers. I bet I could infiltrate that club without you guys even knowing it. Ok, Ok, maybe I would give it away by leaving the toilet seat down.....
Rockabilly luv...what the f***. Just do it...dump those mother fu****s. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Darn it...now you made me go and get all ghetto on you.
Hello lovely lady, I snuck myself out to say hello, couldn't resist, missing y'all. I really wanted to visit the boys only thread, you know the one with the fort and the tree house, but was a-scared captain would throw tomatoes at me.... ... ... ... Hmmm, maybe if I go over with baked products
Age does not matter as long as intentions are good. I have gone over 10 years both ways, both younger and older. Fortunately for me, intentions on all sides were good and we had lasting and fulfilling relationships.
I do believe that Kid and Wooffy are making fun of me.
Fe!!! I say to you. OK, I admit that my bravado in trying to work electronic things far exceeds my technical knowledge of wiring, electrical circuits and all those things that could possible electrocute you. Ok, here's one you can laugh at. Writing my thesis for my Architectural Degree, about 4 in the morning, smoking a cigarette and balancing it on the computer instead of the ashtray. The smoke burns through the mouse cord and I am freaking out cause nothing is working and I need to have my thesis done in 6 hours. I decide to splice wires and 'fix' things. I am lighting and melting rubber cords, cutting and splicing things. Hot rubber falls and lands on my hand and sticks to my skin and burns it's way through my skin to the bone. . . . . . . . It hurt . . . . . . I managed to fix the mouse, complete my thesis and win an honourary award for it... . . . . so again.
Okay...I know that you know that I had no freakin' clue what you said to me.... . . . . . . . . Off to the electronic store tomorrow before I done blowed up da damn place!!!
Oooooo! That sounds good. Venere gave me some awesome advise that I have been trying to follow also. It has gotten better, but still haven't gone the whole night through, not yet. I will try the nuts and soya milk. Even if it doesn't work, the nyumminess will make me feel better.
I have a little obsession. Buying wee little electronic doo-duds. I can't help myself. The unfortunate part is that I am not very good at getting them to work properly. I bought a portable keyboard. It folds up into an 8 inch x 4 inch thing that I can carry around. Works on batteries. But has an outlet that says DC6V. It did not come with a separate outlet for plugging it into the wall. Does this mean I can use some sort of outlet thingy to run it on electricity? And how do I know which one of the million extra power cords and cables I can use with this thing. Is this something I can figure out online or is it better to go into an electronic store before I blow myself up. (I actually did blow a TV once, used the wrong currency, TV bought in Canada and I tried to plug it in in Ghana without a proper currency adapter....was kinda cool actually)
Sorry, question is. Can I use an electrical power cable up to 6V? or does it have to be exactly 6V?
Excellent. Life in your world is proceeding well it sounds.
House buying....geez, what grief. But satisfying once it is all done. Things are well here. I spent the Easter holiday doing a whole lot of nothing and had a fantastic time doing so.
I am counting on meeting you and some of the other ladies this summer, here, there or places inbetween....
