RE: If you could back to the past, what would you change in your life?????

I don't think I'd want to change anything. If I changed my past, then I wouldn't be who I am today. I'm happy with me.

FREE!

RE: Chicks with piercings

The nice thing about piercings, though, is that you can take them out if you don't want them anymore, and that's free. Usually there is very little visible "damage" when you take them out.

RE: '' I believe that people should put forth an effort to look nice on a profile''

I think profile pictures should be a reflection of who an individual is most of the time. You may be pleasantly surprised at how some of these "convict" looking men can "clean up." Don't be too quick to judge a book by it's cover.

RE: A hundred contagious smiles

I had many reasons to smile today.

I had time to spend outside.

I laughed and joked with my co-workers.

I played games with the kids at school.

I had the opportunity to hear my little niece get excited that the "resident geese" were landing in the pond in their backyard while talking to my sister-in-law on the phone.

Just another fantastic day....

RE: Are women naturally manipulative or is the feminist movement of the world teaching them to be?

Not all women are manipulative. I don't believe that manipulative behaviour is a natural behaviour, but rather a learned behaviour. I am well aware of women who will use manipulation for their own benefit to get ahead in life, and that is sad. I don't believe feminism teaches or enforces manipulative behaviour. I am a feminist because I believe that women should have the same rights and opportunities as men. Does this make me manipulative? I believe not. Does this make me a man hater? Absolutely not. Do you really think that feminism is a "sickening experiment?" Do you think that women should remain oppressed with little or no opportunities in life? Do you think this would put an end to what you see as the "sickening experiment" and thus the end of manipulative behaviour if it is in fact taught by feminism?

RE: Is it Sane to Believe?

I have just finished reading this article as well as Stressfree's recommended reading:

Very interesting, some of it is a little over my head and makes me wish I had a more knowledgeable background in physics. If the universe is currently expanding, then I wonder what could trigger this "dark energy" to switch from an expanding force to an attracting force?

RE: Accepting Change

I totally agree handshake

RE: Accepting Change

I'm sorry you feel this way. I guess I believe that individuals are in control of their happiness.

RE: Accepting Change

It's so easy to become comfortable in our daily lives, waking up to the familiar routines that we know so well. Comfortable can transform into stagnation. Change is good. Whether it is chosen, or unexpected, it allows for renewed perspective on every aspect of our lives. JMO
