I so agree with Crystalave and Siren..... Nothing beats getting hugs of kids (well my own that, is or my niece or nephew! lol)
Especially more so, off my 12 going on 13 yr old son, as he is at that stage, where hugging mom is not cool!!!!!!!!!! So when he gives me a cuddle, it fills me with such love, warmth, joy and pride!
I am so sorry that you both are feeling this pain.
My dad, whom took me on when I was 2yrs old, split from my mom when I was 13 and now lives in Scotland with his second wife. I may never see him from one year to the next, but I could never imagine him not being there for me, on the other end of the phone. I feel he is just the greatest man ever! And I am sure you both must of felt the same about your dads. So I can empathize with you.
Good! Glad to hear it. My lil sprogs are driving me insane! lol Is only cos I have the builders in also, and my lil fella wants to keep going upstairs to nosey at what they are doing!! Going to my sis tomorrow though, so that should be a laugh!
