Obama will be in my city in a few hours and he will make one of his speeches and help others understand how much better a choice he will be for the country.
The Scientific Community has publicly rejected McCain because of what he said during one of the debates.
He criticized Obama for buying an "overhead projector" with an earmark.
Today, McCain is still making that criticism, but this is what it was for:

The projection equipment in this theater is 40 years old, and is no longer supported with parts or service by the manufacturer. It has begun to fail, leaving the theater dark and groups of school students and other interested museum-goers without this very valuable and exciting learning experience.
The Adler Planetarium slur reveals both the slovenly nature of the McCain campaign's opposition research as well as the cynical and tone-deaf disconnect from reality. This is a high-tech scientific educational project, not an entertainment device. When I was a child and teenager growing up in New York, the Hayden Planetarium at the Museum of Natural History was among my favorite places to visit. It was an important factor in the formation of my life-long interest in science and technology.
You are right that it IS the people of this country who make America great, not Washington.
I also believe that Obama is not lying and that he is sincere, intelligent and he will do everything he can to make the promises come about. He does not lie that it won't be easy and there is a lot to do. He believes in us, the middle class people who work so hard every day. He believes in the United States, and he wants to make it like it was meant to be, UNITED.
Look how he has inspired so many! It really WILL MATTER in the end.
One more thing, if the govt. is supposed to stay out of the way, why will the interfere with a woman's right to choose?
McCain wants govt. to stay out of people's lives, for sure. He wants to cut ALL PROGRAMS that help the general public! McCain voted NO on Head Start for Children and early education. McCain voted NO on health care for children!
Many people need govt. to step in for public programs.
Today I met an elderly retired woman sweeping her front walk. I was canvassing for Obama and her house was on my list so I approached her. She was adamant that she was voting for McCain because Obama was "going to TAKE ALL OF HER RETIREMENT" and spread the wealth around.
I told her that I had not heard it that way, not at all and I walked away. She had already voted early, there was not point in wasting time there.
Obama's plan does not include taking away money elderly earned and have saved.
Does anyone believe this and if so, where do you see it?
When I listen to Obama and Biden speak, they reach deep within, they talk about the real meat of the problems hitting most of us. They both have such substance in their words.
All McCain / Palen ever do is talk bad things and smears. Their talks try to mimic Obama's but they can't pull it off on everyone.
