I do a random act of kindness every day... but the only rule is I dont tell anyone about it or it does not count.. and I feel quite disappointed if I miss out .. its been such a long running habit .. almost 15 years now..
And NO I am not going to tell you what sort of things I do.. you can figure it out for yourself.. as long as its a selfless (as opposed to Selfish) act its counts. If you get any benefit from it .. that does not count either!
CGD.. if you want a better insight in to the way men and women are wired differently ie think completely differently about the same subjects... I can recommend a very good book ...
Its called "why men dont listen and women cant read maps" by Barbara and Allen Pease. There are 2 others in the series but this one is a very good read.. You would be able to find a copy on eBay or Amazon or in some second hand shops if you look around.
It gave me a lot of useful tips when dealing with the Women in my life ie Ex's, Daughter, Step-Daughter, Friends etc etc etc
I am eccentric then... I read back on every thread that I am interested in right to where I last finished.. dont want to miss out on any of the good bits..
Mind you after being away.. it took me a couple of days to catch up.. and some threads had completely disappeared!
Yes! Take sea sick tablets 24 hours before you arrive and then I can almost 99.9% guarantee you will not completely ruin your cruise by having your head in a bucket.. well until you leave the bar at 4am anyways... and this is even if you have NEVER been sea sick in the past.. many a cruise has been ruined for people who have never been sea sick before. Every single boat ot ship is different in the way they move and that motion affects us all differently.
A bloody tragedy that no child or person should have to endure.
However this child quite possibly would have had the ability to seek repatriation to a safe haven (Australia) through official channels in country, or better yet, remained with relatives and be allowed to grieve and grow up in his homeland.
