thanks RALF, Its been my pleasure.. and I will have DT's and Withdrawals when I eventually get back to sea for 4 weeks with no internet! But I will have lots of laughs catching up on the forums on my return.

You RALF, and the other dominant females that keep us naughty boys in line are all fantastic, even though I often dont agree with what is said, I respect your right to say it, and I admire your courage to say it and stand behind it! and keep backing up in the face of some pretty horrible personal attacks from certain lower life forms.

Kizzy ..you still scare me just a little but hey I do love reading your posts!

Nuala for being my sounding board and listening to me drivel at all hours (and for some rock solid MOTHERLY) advice.

I agree with Kizzy.. it strokes my ego if I get approached .. even if I dont click.. like the person.. have chemistry.. it does not matter its still a bit of ego fluffing and not too many men can deny they dont like that with a straight face.

I have had a few..

I joined the Navy at 15 and served for 21 years but during that time had dozens of different "postings" and almost all of those jobs involved different, and sometimes even interesting tasks.

Since I got out of the Navy in 2001 I have worked in a Hardware Store, sold Pools and Spas, worked for a Locksmith, Security Guard at the Perth Racetracks, Security at the Art Gallery of WA, Tupperware Salesman!, Insurance investigator, Bank Teller, Homes Loans consultant, Bank Manager, Public Servant (Supervisor in a Data Entry Facility!), and WA Police Public Servant as an Intellligence Analyst, and now am working offshore as an Integrated Rating on rig tender boats in the Oil and Gas industry! Now thats not too varied is it??

this post was inspired by a convo I was just having with Kidatheart about eating Moose/Elk etc and he mentioned beef from Alberta being the ducks nuts (best!) and Argentinian beef... well I reckon King Island beef is the best.. and we could all of course go on about what our city, town, region, local pub etc etc produces that is the best.

So here is your big chance to share your wisdom and promote your local region.. in these times of financial uncertainty it costs nothing to be kind to your local butcher etc..
