Some people don't know when to stop, others may have health issues (physical/mental) which can create more health problems (weight gain) while some may not care as much about their looks...etc. The reasons are many and I don't think you'd appreciate a wall of text explaining them all.
How many fast food joints and shops selling junk foods have been in your country over the years? Are you suggesting that there has not been an increase of obesity in your country since having them?
I'm guilty in having tried it more than once. But I can say that I haven't had McD's in nearly 10 years, and most of the burger joints very rarely. I'll do Subway more than any of them anymore, if I go fast food at all.
Since when do supermodels look healthy? Many of them look borderline anorexic and frail. This is across the globe and not just in particularly assumed countries. Me personally, I'd prefer a bit of meat on the bones than one that looks so fragile. But then, tastes vary...pun intended.
Who are we trying to kid? I believe "Kid" is the operative word here. If you've noticed, some fast food establishments target the children with clowns, kings and things that appeal to the youngen's. That's a business tactic that has worked very well over the vast many years to draw families in to eat their junk. Aim young, they'll come, they'll stay onboard. As we age we may become wiser, more health conscience and decide not to partake in the junk foods as much, if at all. But as we may decide not to, a new family is pulling up to the drive through to appease their children.
How many here can be truthful in saying they have never eaten fast food?
RE: What would you give the person above?
And move it a little closer to where it's more convenient to get to!
