That is true.Face to face and spending time with someone says alot about compatability as opposed to the computer.You can "meet" people here but figuring out if they are right for you requires time with that person.
I have had fun with CS.Lots of humor and support from forum goers.I kinda doubt Ill meet a soulmate on here but I never have luck in the real world so I dont let that deter me.This to me is a great big chat room filled with diverse interesting people. A bit of a cyber family I suppose.
I once dated a girl about 100 miles away from me. I didnt drive but I took a bus to see her every other weekend.She came to see me in between.What broke us apart was my lack of desire to talk on the phone.She was a great girl and it was ashame.We did maintain a healthy 3-4 month relationship that way though
I recently seen a news report about a Chinese town where locals tear apart electronics to save the precious metals for a living.The health risks are many but they make 8 US dollars a week,a generous weeks pay in China.Maybe these bulbs go there.
I think thats most of the battle.A distorted self image seems to thwart me time and time again.Maybe a psychologist is in order.Im a narcissistic self hater if thats believable!
