I have never been without a National health service and have always taken free health care and education as just basic human rights, and its only now reading through here that I realise how lucky we are to have these rights in europe, and I cant help but fell a wee bit sorry for our american cousins who have never had such a luxuary. I just can not fathom how it would feel if you had a bad car accident and in the ambulance you have to figure out if you can afford the health care thank god for the NHS
