RE: why do women use the word curvy, when theyre out of shape

I wouldn't call that truth, it's just opinion. Only subjective opinion. And that's the truth of that one Yubs!!
I mean ANY description is STILL subjective, no matter how factual or 'truthful' one might think it is.

My little simple point was, 'I' wouldn't be saying something that's actually very clearly nasty, when I could just say
"It's only my opinion" instead, and leave the person alone. Pass without harming.
Again, none of us are perfect. And then maybe we are.
Because (oh this is so tired), what is 'perfect'??
So to finish, my stupid little point, for what it's worth...
There's no 'truth' in a subjective statement. Only the truth of it being subjective. And can we not live and let live?? Isn't there enough hurt in the world already??

Toodleoo.

RE: Ireland!

Yes I agree with ciotog. Well done lad.
Ireland, for starters has the second highest cost of living in Europe, right after Monaco (is this still true folks??)
Dublin then, is EVEN MORE expensive.

BUT,

The wages there, are still the same.

So, I think Galway, or Cork or Limerick, or Waterford.

The only thing is Merc... I don't know whether you've heard, but unemployment is rising very sharply due to overtly greedy interest groups/lobbyists, property developers & speculators AND our government, who just fueled what is now a crisis.
The commentators who were all along correctly speculating that the recession which is now here, could get far worse. There's hundreds of jobs being lost every week.
I'm not sure if that poses such a good possibility for job opportunities for your son and daughter in law. I know you say now that they are financially doing well. But would they really want to come to a country where they could end up losing money overall, their hard-earned savings dwindling?
Plus the fact that the weather here leaves a lot to be desired. To an Australian, who's used to such a gorgeous DRY warm climate, where you can spend so much time out of doors, they could feel very claustrophobic...
I speak from experience. I visited Australia for a month, and instantly fell in love with the climate there. I found it depressing being home again after a week only.
My last girlfriend was from Minnesota, United States. She spent eight months here, and I won't say 'hated', but overall strongly disliked the country, though she had very romantic notions coming over here in the first place. The cost of living just astounded her. The price of food, utility bills, everything. The weather seems to be getting worse, wetter and wetter. The constant damp even in the middle of our summer really drained her and made her miss home, family & friends even more. And now recession and rapidly dwindling job prospects??
Now, if your son had a few million, he could buy up property and possessions like cars etc. very cheaply now. If he had enough stock capitol to make it through the recession, he could do very well in the next boom time, maybe eight to ten years away. But he could be just sickened by the cost of living, and the constantly wet weather long before then.
I love Ireland deeply. And I love it for what it could be, should be. The landscape is beautiful, breath-taking. Country folk are so friendly & down-to-earth. Tourism should be our first and totally self sufficient indigenous industry, but this is atrociously ran as well by the powers that be here.
If I had a choice, I'd move to Australia. I don't know WHAT he'd be coming here for. Romantic notions dissipate very fast with a dwindling bank balance and constant damp.

If you read all the posts, you'd understand. And understand too, why Alexey started this thread. I think it's kinda become a pet hate for us!!
But you HAVE TO follow the story up to now, so as you will NOT MISunderstand!!!
Comprendez??!! confused :)

RE: What can a black african man do for a whit ladies to fall inlove with them?

Hi Dawn!! Don't want to use your real name because of this stalker guy you have trailing you around!! doh

Sorry only got on this now!!

I can't believe we're still inflating the number of pages this guy gets on his thread.

How about we ALL just IGNORE HIM?!?!?!dancing banana yawn

For any new people, this might seem extremely harsh and callous??

Trust me. Look at the rest of the thread.

And look at yesterday's thread posted by the same author.

You will understand. It's not pleasant though!!! barf

RE: What can a black african man do for a whit ladies to fall inlove with them?

You're dead right. Not even replying is just so rude.
And I agree, there can be WAYYYYYYYY too much pickiness amongst people. You definitely have a VERY valid point.
But men are just as guilty here as women. Without meaning to, I would even have to confess to being very choosy about a woman. I could be on here til doomsday too.... but what can you do??

However, you CAN have the manners to reply. There's no excuse for this. And I mean at least within a week. Just even a simple "Sorry, but no thanks".
I'm glad that you changed the direction of this thread here Jaydogg. It was going disastrously badly!!!

RE: why do women use the word curvy, when theyre out of shape

Fair play to you too WhatUWish4. Wish all women felt the same about themselves.

Oh it's very tiring... any form of discrimination. It's easy to do, and not very nice when it DOES come back at you.

There's none of us perfect here. At the same time, there's a lot of good about us too, individually. Why can't people just accept people's innate differences, without having to throw old snidey derogatory remarks??

If you don't LIKE SOMEONE... MOVE ON.frustrated

And if you're not going to say anything nice...
Just LEAVE THEM ALONE frustrated

RE: why do women use the word curvy, when theyre out of shape

Ah yubba?!?!? scold

I'm surprised at you... no need to be nasty, in fairness...

RE: why do women use the word curvy, when theyre out of shape

And GOOD FOR YOU. thumbs up

RE: Teleportation Is Real

Fantastic Dusty. Well done. Though one would have read or heard about such like (The Law of Attraction etc.) 'relatively' often, it's still SO good to just even see a reminder of it. And you worded it very nice & simply. Thank you for that.

Oh thank you too Conrad for the info and the thread. It's all good stuff.

RE: WHY DO WHITE LADIES HATE BLACK AFRICAN?

Good for you Laura! Nice to hear the good news. And your balance.
Best of luck with it. applause cheers

RE: WHY DO WHITE LADIES HATE BLACK AFRICAN?

I don't understand Siaka. Please explain.

RE: WHY DO WHITE LADIES HATE BLACK AFRICAN?

Yup Bamaboy. It looks 'that' way now I'd say!!
What can you do eh? Oh dear, oh dear. I could have just spent the last half hour doing something else.
Anyway, 'spose I'll take my own advice. There's good and bad everywhere!!!

RE: WHY DO WHITE LADIES HATE BLACK AFRICAN?

cinnamongyrl, I would agree with a lot of what you said.
I'd say though, that with his broken English, it's probably evident that he won't quite understand you.
We might all have to speak a little bit simpler for him, that's if people are interested enough to try and help him out.
Cheers.

RE: WHY DO WHITE LADIES HATE BLACK AFRICAN?

Siaka, who are you talking to?

Just hit the QUOTE button before you reply. You did it a minute ago. It'll let everyone know who you are talking to.
Cheers.

RE: WHY DO WHITE LADIES HATE BLACK AFRICAN?

thumbs up

What MORE can be said Siaka?

I thought I was going. I really am this time. doh

RE: WHY DO WHITE LADIES HATE BLACK AFRICAN?

Siaka,
This may be true, but it may NOT be true. You can't fight everybody else's fight for them.
Do you still not see that saying "black are God fering more than all?" is making a distinction based on skin colour?
Maybe if you said "A lot of blacks are more God-Fearing" etc.

All we need is a red neck to come on, and there'll be war.
doh :)

RE: WHY DO WHITE LADIES HATE BLACK AFRICAN?

thumbs up Good advice!!

RE: WHY DO WHITE LADIES HATE BLACK AFRICAN?

Siaka, sorry it's a bit hard to understand you.
For what it's worth, even though I'm not from the US, I was delighted Obama was elected. And obviously, he was elected by both white and black people. Just try and remember that. I don't know the hard time you face, because I'm not you. I've known the sting of prejudice in other ways, and rejection though.

But BigBlack has just said too that he gets more messages from white women than black women... so???

Maybe again, like Konigsberg said, you've just been hurt and are reacting from emotion.

Best of luck anyway.

RE: WHY DO WHITE LADIES HATE BLACK AFRICAN?

Well ladies,
With respect to the gentleman, I think you've said it all.
The problem is the more the poor guy feels that people don't like him, the more of that he will attract.
It's obvious YE know that something's happened him, to really annoy him, some kind of obvious discrimination. But then again, it might be blatant discrimination, and PERCEIVED discrimination.
Either way, I 'spose we should feel for him.
But Siaka, all jokes aside, though you do have our sympathy, you're still generalising. There's good and bad people everywhere.
Some people have been ignorant to you, there's no question there I'd say. But try not to forget that, we are not all like that, and bare no prejudice to you.

Like Konigsberg was trying to say, life is beautiful.
Try and see that you could have some friends here. It will spread.

comfort handshake

RE: do u think a guy feels about a overweight female?

Actually I should make the inclusion there that a size 6 may be attractive to SOME men & healthy for SOME women, but not a whole lot I should think...
Anyone with any kind of relevant statistics on what 'size' the MOST of girls in say Western Society (for a start) 'should' actually be from a medical health point of view?

RE: do u think a guy feels about a overweight female?

"we all have feelings, and if people would think of this before thay talk, maybe things would be better."

Oh God, it's so refreshing to hear people say this.

"So shines a good deed in a weary world"

RE: do u think a guy feels about a overweight female?

I don't quite understand the poll options.... why there isn't any option there to allow a guy to show his appreciation, or a lot of appreciation for bigger girls... why didn't you do this?
There are a LOT of us guys out here in the big bad world who really like bigger girls. In fact, lots of us who can ONLY like bigger/rounder/curvier and every other beautiful variant.
Curvy chicks... ye DEFINE femininity.
I'd have to make the inclusion that I would obviously be great if you also kept yourself fit. I would also just be concerned for your health. But there are a lot of bigger girls out there who ARE fit, and still get picked on and mocked etc. This is awful. WHY pick on another person based on their looks?
I generally can't find slimmer girls attractive myself, but I would never ever say anything harmful or nasty about them, not even in an impersonal forum like this. They just wouldn't know that I don't fancy them, though I do respect them.
If you haven't got something nice to say about the girl, don't say anything at all!!

But for what it's worth, there ARE a lot of us guys, who just love ye!!
xox

RE: Sutra - a shift in consciousness

Thank you so much for that Dusty... from a lot of us. I'm sure there are many more who also feel grateful to you for this. Thank you for taking the time to do, and sharing it with us.
I don't think Dr. Chopra would mind too much, if at all... one couldn't assume on his behalf, but, I'm sure he would be happy knowing that these messages are getting out to more people. I would feel he would be infinitely more concerned with the knowledge and awareness spreading, than copyright and monetary issues.
Thank you for all this. wave
