I weigh 5 pounds more now than I did in high school 50 years ago, but at one point I was heavier, not fat either. But I've been the same weight for most of my whole life since age 20.

Lynx, I do know what you mean. Same thing for me, its when you realize that you can no longer ask you mom and dad for advice... or tell then that you love them. The longer my parents are gone, the more I realize how much they loved me, and how lucky I was to have had the parents that I did.

So far I've only had pea size hail, sometimes a little bigger. I really think the summer's in Ireland must be nice, cooler, like where I am. I make up for my cooler summer's by usual having a colder winter... except for last year, it got cold, but no snow,

I've been in Black Forest for 40 years, and it use to snow every winter, lots of deep snow

not that I didn't mind not shoveling.

I've been hit by marble size hail and almost got knocked out, I could not imagine that size hail. It's unusual for that size here, but the weather is changing... fast. Only 2 months ago this area got hit by hail, hundreds of cars totaled, trees and roof damage... as the world turns.
