I'm not always around the computer just because my light is on... ... I have another window open with a 4 hour smooth jazz song playing... ... I know you fall asleep with the phone in your hand... ... I don't mind if you doze off for a while, I know it's 7 hours later where you are... ... I didn't like her that much when I was young, she was just not my music taste back then... ... ... but now that I'm older I appreciate her more...
I had a 18" Zildjian riveted cymbal, it fell over and cracked, I still have it but don't use it, the crack is about 2" long, and about 3" from the outside, long ago I drilled 2 small holes on both sides of the crack, it worked for a long time, when I noticed it started again, I retired it... ... Wouldn't it be nice to have energy like that again? getting old is no fun... I wonder how many calories Cobham burn's off after playing like that? ... ...
The pro's choice... ... ... Simon does some poly rhythmic drumming, I like that... Billy Cobham's has played all types of music over the years, one of the best...
My mom enjoyed music, I'm glad I had the chance to take her to see Glenn Miller, I'm sure it brought back memories for her, and, nice memories for me now...
Female drummers ... and, if they sing, it's all over (Think Karen Carpenter) ... ... Have you ever seen The Corrs live ever? I bet they put on a good show...
It was, the seats were all good, so was the sound quality... They play a good and long show, Glenn would be proud! ... ... I just realized, that's the last concert I've been at ... ... ...
This is from 1942, two years after my mom and dad got married... ... ...
$103.00 starting price... ... ... I save my concert tickets, I just found it, I took my mom and stepdad to see the Glen Miller Orchestra, at the Pikes Peak Center, Colorado Springs on Friday, March 24, 2006 at 7:30 pm ... The ticket price was ... 30.50 ... ... inflation! I'm putting the band back together ... ... I watched my mom that night, she loved it...
Todays the last day of summer here, possible snow or cold rain on Sunday... ... ... I'm headed back outside now, I'm slow, but I'm good... ... ... I might be on later... ...
I think so too, some people think that Chris Isaak was a one hit wonder, with, "Wicked Games" ... everyones music taste is different I guess, I have 3 or 4 CD's by him, I think they are all good... I need to work outside now, I have warm temperatures today and until Saturday, then rain/snow and colder for the weekend, I let my grass get tall and go to seed, in a attempt to thicken my pasture... ... so it's tall, but dry, it's my last cut of the year, I only cut 2-3 times a year, more if it rains a lot... ... I need to trim around the house, blow off the driveway... Just my usual fall yard work ... having too much fun on here! ... ... ... I take breaks, I enjoy mowing the grass... ... I will check up with things on here at break time...
Yes, that was the one... ... haven't heard that in a while... ... You couldn't watch the video? ... ... It was Chris Isaac Live - Let Me Down Easy... with a little white dog in the video... ... ... I'll try again, it should play...
Don't stress out, just got off the phone with my pilot, he's arranging my ETA in Waterford for 6:00 AM tomorrow morning... ... ... Would it be alright if we meet for breakfast around 8:00 AM? ... How about the Olive Cafe, it looks good... unless you know of a better place... ... ... do you know what the price of jet fuel is these days? ... ... ...
How soon can you get here, I'll be hungry soon... ... Or, would you rather have breakfast in bed? ... ... ... I have a coffee shop and the Mountain View Cafe both less then 5 minutes away... After that much food, I think a walk in the park would be nice... ...

... ... Happy Birthday...
