bet you didn't know the purple hearts is the medal that no one wants.the only 2 ways to earn a purple hearts is by either being wound in battle or killed in action.it is not something to be joking about,for i have my son's he was award by being killed in action.is it worth my son's life or any other hero's who was award to by being killed in action NO.but they knew the risk when they join the military..

which we the citizens of the free world should be thankful for these brave hero's the man and woman who make up the military of the free world.for if it was not for them,we will not have the free world nor the freedom we do have,but because of those who is willing to risk it all,we do have the nations of the free world and we have the freedom we do have.


to answer your question is not up to us to decide what to do with them,but it is up to the military to decide what to do with them.no one knows what they will do until they have walk in someone's shoes.i have met with veterans of afghanistan and iraq,some of them will never be the same cause of what they went through over there.right now our military has a high rate of suicide.believe it or not more have die from suicide than have been killed in actions.but it is sad cause the military does not know what to do about it nor knows how to stop it...


in time they will have to answer for what they have do,but it is not up to us to judge them,without having to walk in their shoes,without having to go through what they went through.yes they have done wrong and the military will take care of them

it's funny in a way through the past of couples of months,i have been dealing with families of the fallen heros.they call me a angel but they put the second part of it.they call me their guardian angel cause they know when they are around me i watch over them and i protect them...it seens like through the e-mails and phone calls i get,plus the meeting i had to go to this week they want me to reach out to more families of the fallen heros..

yes i must admit at first they didn't know what to think of me,as they watch the man in black walk towards them.than as he gets close to them they notice under his left eye he has 3 red tears drops,they later learn they are for his son and the 2 other Marines who was lost upon that sad day.

but when they reach out their hand for him to shake,in a blink of a eye they are in his arms and he is holding them close to him,before they know it their tear drops are falling and they are able to deal with the heart break,hurt and pain they have been holding in. as others watch this man in black hold them in his arms,they wonder how he does it,how one minute they are crying on his shoulders but yet another minute they see a smile come across their face,as they watch him walk up to someone else.

yes admirals,generals and on down has met the man in black and yes before they know it,they are in his arms,some cry on his shoulders and some wonder WTF is going on for everyone knows you are not suppose to touch a admirals or generals.but they watch as they leave the arms of the man in black they too have a smile on their face

through the months those who need him as met the man in black,for some calls him their guardian angels.i can only pray that soon no more will have to met the man in black,that their tears they cry will not be out of sadness but out of happiness

1 of the reasons why i came back to the great land of CS,is because over time the people of the land of CS has become like a family to me,yes it is true over time some has left i can only pray on to better things.yes over time we have share a laugh and a smile and yes evening some time a tear or 2.we have been there for each other to share the good times and help each other through the bad times.we have stood besides each other no matter what tomorrow bought us as a family should,yes evening sometimes when we need comfort we draw close to our family,before we close our eyes to sleep,we say thank you to God for giving us the family and friends we do have.in this world all we have is each other,when 1 is gone we wish we have another day to spend with them

yes it is true we can here seeking something,sometimes we do not know what that something is.sometimes we find it or it finds us.but sometimes we do not find it,nor does it find us.but some where along the way we find something we need but we didn't know we needed it,a true friend someone who will share the good times with is,someone who will help us through the bad times,someone who will be there for us no matter what tomorrow brings.through the time we will share a smile and laugh togther,we will help each other with our probelms that life brings,yes sometimes we will lean on each other,when we need someone to lean on,when we find someone like that,it is a blessing from God

as i tell people in life,do not be sorry but be thankful.for if it was not for hero's like my son and the ones who came before him,who are now serving their countries and who in the future.we will not be the countries who make up the free world,nor would we have the freedom and rights we do have..we have the freedom and rights we have cause of these heros who is willing to sacrifices they make and who is willing to make the ultimate sacrifices for the countries they know and for the countries they believe in what they stand for,freedom for all..

yes it took me awhile to comment on this thread for i have been lost for words,who will know how to express the heartbreak,hurt and pain that a lost of a child brings,yes i know those of who that has lost a child might be able to understand.yes i know my family is not alone in this for their are families through out this country and through the world.feeling the same heart break,hurt and pain that my family is feeling.through out this time i have meet some of these families and i have held their in my arms,as they cry on my shoulders cause of their lost,as their tears burn a hole through my soul..

i still can hear the screams of my children as i had to tell them 1 by 1 that their brother was killed in action,yes i still can hear the screams of his mom as i had to tell her,her son has been killed in action..yes my son as the others who have join the military after 9-11 knew they will be sent to afghanistan or iraq.they knew once they was in country they only had a 50-50 chance of coming back out alive.

but in their words and the words of my son,who said when he was last home in Nov.1 week before he was sent to afghanistan.i still can remember him looking me in the eyes,saying dad if i died understand i die my way.i die serving the country i love and the country i believe in what it stands for.i die a united state Marine

little did he know just after his 22 birthday his life will be cut down by a cowardly act.my son was killed by a IED, for those who does not know what a IED is,it is a homemade bomb.but what made it a cowardly act it was remote control.they sit there and watch my son's platoon for 20 minutes waiting for them to group togther,but they are train not to.when they was leaving they push the button that ended my son's life.thankfully no other Marine was hurt or killed at that time.but some time later that day 2 more Marines was killed like my son was.

do not be sorry but be thankful for hero's like my son and the others.for if it was not for them.we will not be the countries of the free world and have the freedom we do have.but cause of these hero's who is willing to sacrifice it all,we can call oursevles the nations of the free world and have the freedom we do have
