I'm not starting this thread for any controversy, so please, refrain from any opinionated remarks regarding the war.

My heart aches for a fellow friend here on CS, Zdeathangelz. I just learned that his son lost his life while serving over in Afghanistan. I was so saddened to hear this and Zdeathangelz could really use some support right now.

I just want to thank everybody that has and is serving in our military. My heart goes out to every family on either side of this conflict, that has lost a loved one.

sad flower So sorry for your loss Z.

That was a great post, woodzchicksad flower ...U have illustrated the importance of remembering military and their families...not just in word, but in deed.thumbs up . I come from a military background, and too often ppl get so caught up in political aspects of war and conflict, that they forget the military families behind the scenes. This man has suffered a loss no parent is ever prepared for, no matter what job their son/daughter are involved in. My heart goes out to this man and his family as they grieve over the loss of their son...and America should once again should extend their grattitude and condolances for yet another soldier lost in service to his country..If we can come out in droves for funerals of entertainers and their contributions...let's never forget what men and women in military do EVERYDAY; as well as the mothers, fathers, wives, husbands, sisters, and brothers, and children left behind....
