My 2 cents worth..... If you have given any time to think things over before speaking, you should have no reason to question yourself. I've always told my kids to think before they speak.. Have a great day ya'll
What would I give my Father if it were Fathers Day? My birth father died in the Korean War while my mother was pregnant with me, I think I would get him a beautiful headstone. But, I was never told who he was. Father's and Mother's days were always emotional for me. I didn't know my mother(who gave me up at birth - true story) and only found out her first name a couple years ago. I was raised by a family that on the parent holidays we had a special meal and gave them token gifts. As a parent now, my kids do it up pretty grand for - like a day at the spa or special sport tickets for an upcoming game for their dad. I can't wait til I have grand kids, so I can get those cute cards and hand drawn pictures to put on the fridge.
Wheeling Italian Festival is coming up the weekend of the 24th....Nothing better than that around here in the summer. Bring your appetite and your cash and try all the fantastic food. Sit back and listen to the bands, have a little vino and enjoy.
Same weekend is jamboree in the hills for all the country music crazies. Pitch a tent, cut loose, dance half naked with "the boys". The moto is 'what happens in the hills, stays in the hills' No goody goodies allowed or you will be converted.
We are curious about your little girl. Do you have a picture of her? One other thought, since you say it is her neck that is the area that gives her so much discomfort, what kind of dog collar does she wear? I have had cats who can't tolerate flea collars and one dog who broke out from a leather collar and actually caused little blisters. Good luck and hope she gets over this sooner than later. Kathy
Honesty is the best policy Sarge. If someone has something negative to say about your family/life style, they aren't for you anyhow. Blow it off. Please, never feel you owe an explaination to anyone on here, or anywhere else, about your choice to have or not to have children. No negativity from me!! In fact, bring them over to my back yard anytime, the more the merrier at my house. Everybody in the pool!!
yep, I was just in Ohio an hour ago. I live in Wheeling, in the northern panhandle. The state is maybe 25 miles wide up here. Ohio to the West, PA to the East. Went over the bridge to Bridgeport with a friend I met on this site, had pizza at Pizza Hut and came home.
My opinion is for the good old USA, there are so many differences it is awesome. You go to Colorado and there is a little bit of heaven in the mountain and lake areas. Kansas and Nebraska are not so pretty. Going to the West coast you can find vast differences within short distances. In the East, you never know what you'll find, Ohio is not too great to look at but in Virginia and West Virginia, the scenery is outstanding. New York and PA have a homey feel to them. I don't want to talk about now much I dislike North Dakota, but South Dakota is way beyond beautiful.... If you ever get a chance to tour on a motorcycle and take your time, it is well worth it.
RE: Should I question everything I say or should I not question everything I say... Or should I???
